CONGRATULATIONS TO WARREN GENTLES FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!

Warren-Gentles-1Star-Announce.jpg

Meet new One-Star Director Warren Gentles! Warren was born in West London, England and is currently based in London, which he says is one of the most incredible cities in the world! Warren shares, “My passions and interests when I'm not building my PlanNet Marketing business are music production, which I also studied at university, being creative with video editing/graphic design, and I have also started a brand new podcast called the Good Vibes Podcast.

“My travel experiences literally started four years ago when I got started in this business. After many stressful situations in my life, including being homeless and caring for my mum through her cancer treatment, I never would have imagined being able to travel the world! But I'm so grateful because my wife and I have been fortunate to travel to Atlanta, GA, USA for the very first PlanNet Marketing Convention, to Berlin, Germany, and the beautiful Malta, Portugal – which is definitely recommended. We've also enjoyed our first Royal Caribbean cruise last year, which was a phenomenal experience that we will never forget. It's such a joy to also travel with amazing like-minded individuals while creating a team culture.

“The best advice I can share with everyone looking to achieve their dreams and goals is to never stop!! Stay in close contact with your mentor. Make your business your business and never miss a day to take some sort of action in your business or self development. Follow the system, learn the PS3, master the PS3, and teach the PS3 to your team. Take it week by week and analyze at the end of each week how your business has performed. Double your efforts each week!!

“The first thing I realised back in January 2016 when I got started was that this was an opportunity that required me to start from scratch, clear my mind from any limiting beliefs, and follow the successful blueprint that our leadership created. I am truly grateful and so blessed to be under the leadership of Mr. John Dacosta and the Dacosta brothers here in London; they have helped me every step of the way and are real, genuine, focused and very driven mentors. The vision of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley has been truly amazing and I cannot thank them enough for supporting us from the very start in this opportunity.

“This life-changing opportunity was not a chance to say I can't, this was not an opportunity to listen to others who couldn't show me how to change my life…this was an opportunity to bully my fears that had been bullying me all my life, stopping me from my true potential and getting the win for my family!! Take this opportunity and see it as a golden opportunity, an advantage that will not only change your life but allows you to affect and change other families' lives around the world.

“What keeps me smiling on a day-to-day basis is the fact that my wife and I enjoy taking time out doing the simple things – going for walks, playing video games (only after business is done), and just watching comedy movies. Laughter and happiness are the keys to keeping a good balance and the stress of life at bay.”

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: PATRICIA JOHNSON

Patricia-Johnson-spotlight-Aug21.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Somerset, NJ. Yes, I am a ‘Jersey Girl!’ I call myself an ETE, Engineer Turned Entrepreneur. I graduated from Howard University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and I spent 20 years in corporate America. I currently live in Johns Creek, GA and I have one amazing daughter, who also graduated from Howard University, and now lives in Los Angeles, CA. Travel is our passion and the beach is our happy place!

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have personally developed since joining PlanNet Marketing in 2015 in many ways but I’ve definitely become more empathetic, which is a great quality that’s needed when leading people. I’ve always been a “get it done no matter the situation” type of person and I did not need a lot of outside motivation. Growing up, my family (parents, brother, sister) was super supportive, but you had to have tough skin. In corporate America, in the industry I was a part of, you absolutely had to have tough skin. Empathy wasn’t really a big part of my life. By learning about emotional intelligence, reading books, training and real life application, I’ve discovered how important being empathetic is to the success of the team as well as individuals on the team and I am getting better every day. Being open to personal development is what helped get me to Three-Star Director and will be essential in my journey to Nine-Star.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Winning drives me! I want to win for my family and for my team. I am a very goal-oriented person. Once I set the goal, I go all out to smash it. Most of my goals are centered around being able to take care of my parents and my daughter; that drives me. I am motivated by the fact that my action or inaction has a direct effect on my team. I’m truly motivated to help them win!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My parents…they choose to live life RIGHT each and every day. They believe in God, they genuinely care about people, they are fair, 100% dependable, family-first driven, and they utilize common sense each and every day. This could be why they’ve been married for 60 years!

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Determined, Resilient, and Loyal

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Don’t be afraid of new things or things you don’t understand. Make a decision, learn, be coachable, be consistent, and execute. The results will be life-changing. When I chose my major, nobody in my family really knew what an engineer was, including myself, but I made a decision and went for it. As a result, I was successful and did quite well in the industry. Present day, I had no experience in network marketing, actually was adverse to it, but I made a decision, became coachable, and started executing. Now this industry is going to make me and many others in my circle wealthy!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Absolutely amazing!! Trips with my daughter, trips with my family, trips with new friends, trips with old friends, trips with my team…do you get the theme?

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER MEGAN HUGHES!

Megan-Hughes-2020-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Megan Hughes to the 20/20 Club! Megan is from the Liverpool area in north England. She tells us her interests are travel (obviously), healthy plant-based living, yoga, gym and reading business books. “My travel experiences – I've been lucky enough to have travelled to quite a few countries, 25 in fact. My highlights are New Zealand, Canada, Northern Thailand, California, Vietnam and the Bahamas.

“Any tips that I could pass along would just be to trust the process. It's a proven process that works and it's all a numbers game. Probably the main thing that has benefited my business is attraction marketing. Showing people where my office is, talking about my day, showing people my life and myself.

“A fun fact: I left my job early last year after being miserable for months, I hated the job. I drove home that night singing my heart out and being the happiest I'd ever been because I knew I was never going to work for anyone ever again. I didn't know how it was going to happen, but I just knew. A week after that I started reading The Secret, and soon after I had finished the book, I got a message about the business. I now do this business full-time and I've never had to work for anyone else since I walked out of my job that day. If you TRULY believe something, the universe will find a way to make it happen.”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS KENNETH AND JALISA MCCLINTON!

Kenneth-Jalisa-McClinton-2020-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Kenneth and Jalisa McClinton to the 20/20 Club! Jalisa tells us, “I was born and raised on the west side of Chicago, IL. I currently stay in Jackson, TN in between Memphis and Nashville. I love fashion and reading and I have always loved being on the go. I enjoy helping others and I have dreams about one day becoming a motivational speaker for young adults aged 12-18.

“My travel experiences include visiting the White House, Jamaica, Mexico, Vegas and many other states. My travel goal is for my husband, children, and I to visit every country and state before I close my eyes.

“I have achieved success by keeping God first – without Him none of this is possible. I surround myself with people who are going to push me, pray with me, and put me in check when it’s needed. I listen to daily motivational speakers and work on personal development – just lots of positive things and making short-term sacrifices to achieve my goals. I stay plugged in to the training calls and follow my upline’s leadership. I am so thankful to be partnered with Rachel Russell and Tiffany Harris! In the words of the famous Les Brown, ‘I stay hungry’ to help others make money on what everyone is doing anyway, especially #Millennials!

“Fun facts: I’m a wife, mother of three (two boys, one girl), I love doing karaoke, and having family game night. I prefer being called Lisa but my mom calls me ‘Heartface’ – only her though…lol! I just love having fun and living life to the fullest. I’m a member at one of the best churches in the world, Destiny Church Jackson, under the leadership of Pastors Rhonda and Danny Pettigrew, who always pour into me! My biggest goal among all others is to retire my husband. He gives all of what he has to our family and I'm ready for him to rest and truly enjoy life. He deserves it and so much more! Thank you, Mr. Donald Bradley, for your vision.”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Play Nice!

My high school Geometry teacher was known for saying, "Play nice in the sandbox or you'll get your pail and shovel taken away." We all loved Mr. Gnan's sense of humor, and we would laugh and smile at each other every time he said it. But it's TRUE!

My message to you today is – Play Nice! In your family, with your spouse, with your kids, with your coworkers, with your neighbors, and with your business associates in PlanNet Marketing or any business…play nice. Don't be rude or mean-spirited. Don't try to take someone's shovel or rake. If you're trying to build a castle and your friend just had a tower knocked over – ask if you can help them out.

I know this isn't kindergarten and we aren't really playing in the sand, but the way we live our lives is the way we run our business. We want PlanNet Marketing to be known for the upstanding way our Reps do business. If someone isn't playing nice with you – show kindness anyway. If someone is speaking to you with rudeness or disrespect – be professional anyway.

We may not all work in a "brick and mortar" building, but in our “click and order” culture, we can be quick to dismiss others instead of trying to be there for each other. Don't forget that all PlanNet Reps are on the same team – we're all in this together. It is okay to disagree sometimes. It is okay to run your business differently than others run theirs. It is okay not to see eye-to-eye on every subject. We can still choose to work arm-in-arm with one another.

Play fair, be nice, help others. You will always come out on top in the end.

CONGRATULATIONS TO KEISHA WILLIAMS FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR AND 20/20 CLUB!

Keisha-Williams-1Star-announce.jpg
2020club2_williams.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome our newest One-Star Director Keisha Williams to the 20/20 Club! Keisha shares, “I am proudly Philadelphia, PA born and raised and currently residing in Collingdale, PA, right outside of Philadelphia. I love to study everything and watch the Philadelphia Eagles and tennis! But mostly I LOVE to travel!! I have been to 18 countries including Ghana, Cuba, Thailand, Singapore, China, England, France, Mexico and a host of Caribbean nations. My two favorite places in the US are Las Vegas and New Orleans. And, when it comes to football…I have to watch by myself because I scream and holler so much that it's embarrassing to me.

“The road to success was for sure a bumpy one for me! While I never considered quitting my business, I did give up like a thousand times, but I kept jumping back in the game and eventually I stayed focused just enough to get it done. Honestly, I feel blessed! I now see the power of staying in there and being focused, and it paid off.

“My awesome sponsor, Mrs. Ann Jones, taught me about DMOs (Daily Methods of Operation), which helped me to just focus on IPAs and not long term goals or my vision. We decided focusing on bite-sized accomplishments was the way to go because I was being way too analytical. Because of this, I was actually able to check off some of my big goals. Once I finally submitted to that process, I became a Director in about 45 days! I must say, my teammates were just as excited as I was and they got in the trenches with me!! It was truly a team effort!!

“My tips: Focus on our Founder's 12 pillars when looking for core team business partners, and have fun running together. Be an amazing core member for your sponsor/team by focusing on IPAs and being coachable.”

MEET NEW ONE-STAR DIRECTOR ROSALIND CHEADLE!

Rosalind-Cheadle-1Star-article.jpg

Meet new One-Star Director Rosalind Cheadle! Rosalind is from Arcadia, OK and now resides in Oklahoma City, OK. She tells us that interests are movies, books, traveling, and just hanging with her best friend and husband, Dale Cheadle!  She has been on 22 cruises and has traveled to Jamaica, Mexico, Hawaii, and almost all 50 states.

Rosalind talks about success: “Follow the leadership and there’s a fortune in the follow up!! Always show your team you care about them on a regular basis. I did not achieve success quickly. It took me two years to get to Directorship and the 40/40 Club – what a journey of failures and successes! I built my business one family at a time...it took as long as it took. No shortcuts!”

“A fun fact? I am fun-loving, goofy and I love to help people.”
