THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: ADORA JONES

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born in Dillon, South Carolina, and raised in Oxford, Alabama, where I currently reside. I am married and we have two boys. My oldest is our busy, athletic seven-year-old, and the baby boss is one. We have recently added a fur baby girl to the family. My hobbies are spending time with my family and learning to continue to live and not just exist. I work full-time in corporate America. I have an Associates Degree in Business Administrations, and although I have that degree, network marketing was, and still is new to me. I am currently a One-Star Director and 20/20 Club Member, approaching my next pin level.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Yes, not only have my finances grown, but my mindset has changed tremendously. Mind wealth is power. I was programmed to graduate top of the class, go to school, and get a great job, but through this business, I have learned there are more ways to be successful than just going to college and/or to the military. Through our aggressive compensation plan, I learned that I can bet on myself and be flat-out wealthy, simply making a living by living, and teaching others how they can do the same. PlanNet has changed my life and my childrens' lives for generations to come. Average WILL NOT be my legacy.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My environment drives me. I am making good money, but I am still not making enough. I am connected to individuals who make six and seven figures who mentor me and are the evidence. The “Why Not Me” drives me. My family motivates me, and that is not just by blood, I also mean those who allow me to personally coach them through this business. On days I don't feel like I can, I look at my family, and see why I should. They are all my why; I would not dare allow them to be my why not. I made a promise to my family, again this includes my team, and as long as I have their buy-in we will continue to fight for those freedoms, and I will continue to be on the front line.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mom is my role model. She raised my brother and me in a single parent home, she gave us all we needed, and most of what we wanted. She is the true definition of never settling. She just recently hit 50, but a few months prior, she secured her second degree, a Bachelor's, all while continuing to work two jobs. I look at her and know that no matter how tough life can get, no matter what speed others are going around you...embrace your process and never settle.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Authentic, Thoughtful, and Versatile.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Trust your process and never give up. The moment you feel like giving up is always the moment the breakthrough is happening. Don't miss the fruit of your labor.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
It looks like making a living by living! More money! More evidence! More Directors attached to me! I will become a ring wearer and a Ring Maker! It looks like more success!

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER SHAUNDRA COBB!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Shaundra Cobb to the 20/20 Club! Shaundra lives in Adamsville, Alabama. She tells us, “I have been happily married to John Cobb for 22 years. He is also a travel agent in the business. I travel and explore the world with my best friends (hubby and kids). I am always a mother first to my kids, with my youngest being 11 years old and my oldest being 26 years old.

“My interests and things that I love are family, spending lots of time with those I love, investing in stocks, cryptocurrencies, reading, traveling, and giving back faithfully to my community through my nonprofit. 

“I have not traveled to as many places as I would like to yet. But some of my travel experiences and places that I have visited are Disney, Bahamas, Mexico, Colorado, Miami, and Las Vegas. I visited all but one of those last year. I have traveled to other places as well, with a few others on my list to visit this year, including Jamaica. I try to travel at least once or twice a month to satisfy my love of the craft. I couldn’t have visited these destinations last year if it wasn’t for my business.

“How I am achieving success: First, I would like to say my team helps me achieve success by constantly motivating me and encouraging me to go harder. Without them, I couldn’t have possibly achieved this. I also achieved success by being coachable by our Directors and wanting to soak up everything from the ones who have perfected it. I’ll never forget the bootcamp that our Director provided to help us win. It made me see everything in a different light. We worked hard! It has been an amazing, yet not easy journey getting here.

“A few tips that I can share: LOVE what you do. If you love it, other people will see it in you. Also, share your travel experiences. I love sharing my travel with the world on my social media channels. Travel opens and soothes your mind for the people who may not understand. It’s always an escape for me to get away. It really touches people on so many levels, and it is my hope that others may be open to explore. Lastly, build with your travel and your team. Travel is the #1 sought out industry in the world. When you start building, you start creating generational wealth for you and your family, even when you are gone. Who doesn’t want time and financial freedom to do more of what they LOVE? If you work your business, you will see results. Treat it as a hobby and you will get hobby results.

“Fun Facts: I have an amazing family with everyone having a sense of humor. I love Alabama football. Roll Tide!!! My husband and kids have their luggage packed before me. I love seeing people happy and in love. My greatest joy is and will always be helping others, giving back, and LIVING my best life.”

“We Are Not Waiting, We Are Working!”

Mr. Donald Bradley shared vision and insight with the entire PlanNet on a “State of the PlanNet” Facebook Live event a couple years ago, and while so much wisdom was relayed, I do believe the most powerful phrase he shared that day was that at PlanNet Marketing – “We are NOT waiting, we are WORKING!”

As a die-hard PlanNet Marketing Rep who lives and breathes entrepreneurship, you are probably experiencing obstacles in life, but YOUR BUSINESS is not one of those obstacles. You understand the significance of financial freedom and you are more determined than ever to keep moving forward. Business as usual.

With our future in our own two hands, we sometimes consider options that we might never have considered before – that can be good and that can be bad. Choose to think outside the box and reinvent yourself and your business. Sharpen your leadership and networking tools and come out a better leader and a more competent business professional.

Please, do not consider paying for other Reps or ITAs – ever! Even if someone says, “Sure, you can pay for a month for me.” You might feel benevolent and generous, but you aren’t helping anyone. If you choose to pay for Rep accounts or ITA at-home agencies for others, you risk losing your Rep business with PlanNet Marketing. It’s against the rules and it can give the appearance of fraud within your downline. Helping another person “keep the lights on” during a tough time sounds like a win-win, but unfortunately it just isn’t allowed.

Helping people is the right thing to do – it’s not only good, but it’s encouraged at PlanNet Marketing. We are a relationship business, and helping others is a huge part of why Mr. Donald Bradley started this company. Keep in mind though – there is a HUGE difference between giving a person a fish and teaching a person to fish. Teach your team to fish – don’t just hand out one easy meal. Give them the tools to help themselves, to learn how to run their business WITHOUT your constant supervision. Duplication is key. Maximize the opportunity of the time you have been given, right now.  Go back to the basics, visit our “Library” and review training videos. Do the small things consistently. Press in, read, prepare, sharpen your tools and be ready! Be working!
