CONGRATULATIONS TO DEBRA BOND FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!

Debra-Bond-1-Star Director.jpg

Meet PlanNet Marketing’s newest One-Star Director Debra Bond! Debra tells us she is originally from Washington, DC and now resides in Upper Marlboro, MD which is about ten minutes from the DC line. She is most interested in spending time with her family making lasting memories. “I occasionally take in a movie, enjoy dining out, and attending plays and concerts from time to time.

“I love to travel. Every chance I get, I'm heading out for a flight somewhere and at least once a year, I'm traveling with my two adult children. This year I've already taken three trips in January, February, and March. My goal was a trip a month, then COVID-19 came along.

“Prior to becoming a travel business owner, my travel was limited to two to four hour drives to Ocean City, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Hershey, PA to experience Hersheypark, or Doswell, VA to experience Kings Dominion. We even drove 16 hours to Orlando, FL so my children could experience Disney World. I got my passport in 2016, became a travel business owner, and took my first international trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was simply amazing – a group of us turned 50 that year and we chose to celebrate by taking a vacation together. I had so much fun, I planned a family and friends’ trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica and then another to Cancun, Mexico. To date, I have been to all three of these islands several times. I was very skeptical of cruising and always said no; I just can't see myself stuck on a ship in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight – I just couldn't do it. However, I was able to attend a Carnival Seminar at Sea in 2018. I still had my fears, but I went anyway. Oh my goodness! It was the best decision I ever made. I had a wonderful time; I learned so much about cruising and was able to network and learn from other business partners across the world. I loved cruising so much that in less than a year, I had over 25 sailing days on Carnival and was deemed a Gold Member of the VIFP Club. Prior to COVID-19, I had three cruises booked for 2020.

“As for achieving success, honestly, it took me a while to fully understand the benefits of being a PlanNet Marketing Rep. My mind was focused on travel and only travel. However, someone was watching my social media posts of my travel experiences. They reached out and asked me what I was doing and how they could do what I do. Still not fully understanding the benefits, I continued to travel and more people approached me. Once I got it, once I realized that PlanNet Marketing could change lives, I made sure to stay plugged in. I attended events, weekly meetings, and trainings. I made sure to set calendar reminders for the IMV, State of the PlanNet, PlanNet University, and my Leadership Game calls. I started reading the recommended books – GoPro and the Top Ten Distinctions Between Millionaires and the Middle Class. I started sharing everything I learned with my team. I made sure to master the PS3 system to help others that would/could benefit from becoming a travel business owner. I wasn't always consistent; however, I never quit because I knew my life had already been changed by the travel experiences I had, by the leadership in this company, by my immediate team of business partners, and by the customers whose travel dreams I helped make come true. My advice is stay plugged in, don't quit, because the benefits for yourself and your family are most certainly life changing, whether it’s personal or financial, it's so worth the effort!“As a leader, I felt that I needed to be there to provide the tools and resources for my team to succeed. I first had to be the example and show them, coach them, and support them on their journey to success. I simply shared everything I was doing, encouraged my team to stay plugged in and to leverage what the company had already put in place. I remained coachable and encouraged my team to do so too…PlanNet Marketing has put EVERYTHING in place needed to be successful!

“A fun fact – I used to collect Beanie Babies. I'd drive around the city to different card shops and toy stores just to find Beanie Babies...lol. My collection is well over 200 Beanie Babies!”

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: SANJU YOGANATHAN

Sanju-Joy-Spotlight-Aug28.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in East London – London City! I am married and have a son who just turned two. I absolutely love dancing and finding ways to be artistic. I feel like I’m the next Gordon Ramsey with my cooking and always trying out new things, haha.

This business has completely changed my life, I was literally at the end of my savings and it’s completely changed it financially and personally, too. I am now spending quality time with my son, not missing out on his milestones, and creating such wonderful memories.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
My mindset is so much stronger. I care less about other people’s opinions, which was so difficult for me before, but now have created such healthy boundaries. I love helping people start and grow their businesses. It’s the most rewarding feeling and I am grateful daily.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My Why is my son. Being able to spend quality time with him and create incredible memories. I didn’t have that opportunity growing up, as my father had to work tirelessly to provide for us. I want to make sure I can get to a position where I help my dad retire early and look after him too, the way he has always looked after us.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My dad. He fled a civil war, didn’t have the support to really live the life of his dreams. Worked tirelessly to provide for his family and extended family. He always gave without expecting. Strong. Valiant. Dedicated. He never made excuses and always made it work. I always strive to be the best because my father showed me exactly how he did it.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Loving, Patient, and Driven.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Believe in yourself and your self worth. You can achieve anything you put your heart and mind to. Face everything and rise.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
A life full of serving the world of happiness and joy. A life full of love and kindness. Showing my son the beauty of life with dedication and consistency.

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LAMARCIA KEETON!

LaMarcia-Keeton-2020-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome LaMarcia Keeton to the 20/20 Club! LaMarcia was born in Dayton, Ohio and presently resides there. She tells us, “My interests are entrepreneurship, vacationing near the ocean, NBA sports and being a die-hard foodie. I caught the ‘travel bug’ at a young age. Yearly, summer family vacations opened my eyes up to the amazing and wonderful world that we live in.

“Even though my hometown is small, I have achieved success rather quickly because of my online presence. My marketing skills have allowed me to become a ‘hybrid.’ I work my BUSINESS at PlanNet Marketing and I have purchased my own PRODUCT by becoming a travel agent as well. Attending to BOTH aspects allows no money to be left on the table. One of my strategies is that I engage public interaction on my page. My social media pages are PUBLIC, and once a person interacts with one of my posts, I steer them towards my BUSINESS page so they can keep track of my daily postings. I keep abreast of all popular festivals and events and build packages to advertise. I promote trips by making vividly colored flyers and posting them. These flyers are easy for my clients to download and share with friends. This is why 80% of my business is with clients that I have never met.

“Fun facts about myself: 1) I can solve a Rubik's cube, 2) I write radio commercials and tv advertisements for local business, 3) I live every day to the fullest, and 4) I am a former high school teacher and government contractor.”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER SHANEL KINSEYPARKS!

Shanel-Kinsey-Parks-2020-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Shanel KinseyParks to the 20/20 Club! Shanel is from New Brunswick, NJ and has lived in Conyers, GA for 15 years. She shares, “I am a wife and mother of three boys, three beautiful stepdaughters and three grandchildren. I'm an only child and I have always wanted a big family to love on. God has definitely blessed me with that and then some!  I'm a full-time registered orthopedic technician and have been working in the medical field for 19 years. I have always loved to serve and help others. I often have to be reminded that it's time to refill my own cup due to the continuous spillover which warms my heart, because I know I'm walking in God's purpose. My interests are family gatherings, traveling, watching movies, trying new cuisines, and sharing motivational and inspirational messages daily to uplift others – including myself.

“As far as travel experiences go – WANDERLUST! I have always loved to travel but only traveled up and down the east coast up until 2013 when I got married. We took our family on our very first cruise for our honeymoon, which was amazing and enjoyable. WE ALL CRAVED MORE OF IT! Upon return, I immediately applied for my passport because we were ready to travel internationally. In 2014, we visited Aruba (One Happy Island) which we instantly fell in love with (we were even considering property there and still are). Since then, we have been on five cruises (two through my very own travel business) to Jamaica, Cabo San Lucas (twice now), which was so amazing the second time around! And in two months we will be in the Dominican Republic for seven days, which I was able to book through my InteleTravel back office as a RIU specialist using points to cover the resort stay – WINNING! (Editor’s note: this info was received before COVID19 travel restrictions).

“I am so grateful for my sister in success for recommending this business and being able to have partnered with such amazing, skilled, determined, and motivated individuals who I'm honored to call family. I continue to achieve success by staying partnered with PlanNet Marketing, plugging in, continued personal development, which is essential and highly recommended, supporting one another, copying the right cat (LOL), and believing in the process. It is possible to learn and earn while having fun and saving lives by helping/showing others how to move across the poverty line with ‘right now income’ and being able to sustain financial security, per Mr. Bradley.

All I have to say is "LIVE YOUR DREAM." I know I will not quit until I'm living the life I dream of –  so why not you! PUSH = Pray Until Something Happens but make sure there is consistency in what you are doing! A fun fact about me: I smile no matter what just to make others smile!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

…And The Two Shall Become One

PlanNet Marketing has rules about how Spouses can do business – basically our rules say that spouses should only have one Rep account between the two of them. Seems simple enough, right? But we get a lot of questions about this one.

First, let’s remember that PlanNet Marketing treats Spouses as ONE Rep – that means every rule or policy governing Reps applies to both Spouses as One. If your wife does something that violates policy, the consequences apply to you too. If your husband wants to change sponsors, you both must follow sponsorship rules.

Let’s look at the actual policy about Spouses, it says “Spouses (defined as spouses, domestic partners, common-law couples) may not enter into or have an interest in more than one PlanNet Marketing business. In order to maintain the integrity of the PlanNet Marketing Compensation Plan, Spouses who wish to have an IR account must be jointly sponsored as one PlanNet Marketing business. Spouses, regardless of whether one or both are signatories to the IR Application and Agreement, may not own or operate any other PlanNet business, either individually or jointly, nor may they participate directly or indirectly (as a shareholder, partner, trustee, trust beneficiary, or legal or equitable owner) in the ownership or management of another PlanNet business in any form.”

1)      What are Spouses? If you’re married, you are obviously Spouses. But PlanNet Marketing also considers common-law couples and domestic partners as spouses. A domestic partner refers to someone other than a husband or wife with whom you are in a committed, serious and usually permanent relationship. Please consider your future – if you’re engaged, you might be eligible to hold two separate Rep accounts, but if you plan to be married soon and want to work your business together and be recognized for your achievements together, you may want to start with a shared Rep account.

spouses.jpg

2)      What if we use different addresses? Or if we don’t have the same name? The address where you live, or even your last name doesn’t make you a Spouse or not a Spouse – it is solely based on your relationship with your significant other.

3)      What if my Spouse just canceled their Rep account and I want to enroll with a different Sponsor? As PlanNet Marketing sees the two Spouses as one Rep – they are bound to follow Sponsorship rules as one. This means that if one spouse cancels, the other must wait four months before enrolling with a new Sponsor. It doesn’t matter if only one person was previously working that first Rep account – you are Spouses and in PlanNet Policy, you’re One Rep. PlanNet Marketing must enforce this rule to keep our business running with integrity and transparency.

4)      Can we each have our own ITA account? YES! InteleTravel requires Agents to each have their own account. This means that while PlanNet Marketing requires a shared Rep account, each person may choose to purchase their own ITA to sell travel.

PlanNet Marketing understands that there can be circumstances that need to be looked at individually. If you or your Spouse have any further questions about this or any of our policies, please feel free to email us at Compliance@plannetmarketing.com.
