THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: DUKSHINI PRASHANNA

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I'm from East London, UK and have been born and brought up here my entire life! I currently live with my husband (thank you, Prash, for being so supportive with everything I do) and my two little monkeys who I honestly cannot imagine my life without. I have a two-year-old, Amaara, and a three-month-old, Shayla. A few of my hobbies are spending time with my family, booking spontaneous trips abroad, and I can't seem to resist a good deal from Amazon (which my team knows me very well for)!

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
All my life, I've had such low self esteem. To many people, I come across as someone who is confident and bubbly, but in reality, I have always questioned my self worth. I used to think I was never good enough for a particular job, or I was not good enough to earn a certain salary because I didn't achieve the best results at university, or I wasn't good enough to enjoy my life because I didn't deserve it, etc. Little did I know, these beliefs were formed from people who I used to associate myself with. PlanNet Marketing has allowed me to join a community where everyone EMPOWERS each other – there is literally no room for bringing anyone down. It has given me hope that I can achieve everything I have ever dreamed about and I actually believe that I can make it happen, because PlanNet Marketing does not judge me on my background, my ethnicity, my education, my past, whether I can commit to work 100% whilst having children – nothing like that at all. This has given me a boost of confidence that I can make anything happen if I just have SELF BELIEF.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My BIGGEST motivators are my two girls. Growing up, I barely got to spend time with my parents other than the weekend and the one summer holiday we would go abroad together. The memories I had spending time with my parents were honestly the best, and that is exactly what I want to do with my children. I want to create amazing moments and memories with them, but not just on weekends or during my annual leave; I want to create memories every day with them! Becoming a mum has completely changed my priorities, and I've realised there's no point working at a conventional job and only having roughly 30% of the year to truly live in the moment with my family. I would rather work hard for 2-3 years and live the rest of my life on my own terms, than work for someone else for 40 years!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My team and the community we have created are my backbone. Without them, I don't think I would be where I am today. The love, the community, the way people go above and beyond just to see you succeed, has been such a breath of fresh air. I am truly lucky to have surrounded myself with a bunch of inspirational, motivational and driven people. A special thank you to my mentor, Lucy, for having more belief in me when I couldn't see it myself and for the constant support. Without her, I probably would have quit the business a long time ago, as I couldn't see the bigger picture and I had too many self doubts! And a special thank you to my entire team who are all an incredible bunch of people who inspire me everyday to be better.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Unstoppable, driven & passionate.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
If I had to give advice to anyone it would be to have SELF BELIEF and be CONSISTENT. Without self belief, you are your own greatest enemy of any progress and achieving your goals (and trust me when I say that as I have learned this myself the hard way). The only limits we have are the limits we believe. The second you have self belief you become unstoppable. And consistency plays a massive role in this business. A lot of people underestimate the power of consistency, but having a positive mindset and daily habits will take you far in this business.

A special thank you to Mr Bradley for not just allowing average people to live an above average lifestyle, but for putting families first. Never in a million years did I think I would have an opportunity where my future generations, let alone my children, would be financially secure. All it took was for me to invest into this business which costs less than my internet bill.

CONGRATULATIONS TO PAUL KELBIE FOR ACHIEVING 40/40 CLUB!

4040club_kelbie_paul.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Paul Kelbie to the 40/40 Club! Paul is from Chigwell in Essex, just outside of London. He says his interests are “sports, keeping fit, personal development, business and most importantly, my family.

“I’m lucky to have been to many places, from Thailand to Las Vegas! I love going to America and have been at least twice a year for the last ten years. I proposed to my wife at Disneyworld in Florida and we had our honeymoon in Las Vegas! We like a party!

“I’m achieving because I’m all in!! From the moment I started this business, I saw the opportunity and I committed. I love talking about the business and people can feel that energy!

“I love seeing people succeed too, and I do all I can for my team to help them achieve their goals. The reason they joined the business is because of me, so there is almost a responsibility on my shoulders for them to achieve! I show up every day and work hard and am passionate.

“An interesting fact about me is I’d planned to propose to my wife at Disneyworld at the fireworks display, and it nearly didn’t happen because there was torrential rain! But it cleared up and I fell down on one knee and she said yes just as the fireworks were about to start!”

PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES FOUR NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS!

2020-logo-text.jpg

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER GEORGINA GRINSILL!

Georgina-Grinsill-2020-Announce.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Georgina Grinsill to the 20/20 Club! Georgina tells us, I’m a Yorkshire girl from Leeds, UK! I’ve lived in this area all my life apart from a few years while I was at University in Lincoln.

“I have a wonderful husband who I met whilst at University, and an incredible son who is almost 18 months old. Being a mum is the most important thing to me, and everything I do is for my little boy.

I also love to keep fit and lift weights, and I’m just finishing a personal training qualification at the moment.

“I’ve always been obsessed with travelling, and I’m always counting down to my next holiday! I was very fortunate to go abroad a lot with my family while I was growing up, and that has cemented my love of exploring new places. I’m Disney-obsessed, so I loved visiting Orlando and Paris, and my next trip is to Vegas and California, where I can tick another Disney park off my bucket list!

“The reason I’ve done well so far in the business is by doing everything with love and having a genuine passion for helping others. When strangers become friends, and friends become family, that is when you have a successful business!

“My best advice is to be 100% genuine and authentic, and the people who are right for your team will share the same vision that you have.

“A fun fact about me is that growing up I was an Air Cadet, and was fortunate enough to learn to fly at the age of 17!”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER JENNY TOBIN!

Jenny-Tobin-2020-Announce.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jenny Tobin to the 20/20 Club! Jenny was born in Swindon, Wiltshire but currently lives in Bridgwater, Somerset near the coast. She says, “I am a mum of three beautiful children, two boys and one girl, and we live with my partner, Peter Powell, who is also in this business. I love the beach and we escape to our local one – a ten minute drive away. I enjoy walks, swimming, eating out and spending time with my family.

“I absolutely love to travel. It is my passion and it’s also become my family’s too. We love going on holiday and making memories together. We have travelled to Spain, Egypt, Portugal, Morocco, and Greece, to name a few. I have a forever growing bucket list that I will be ticking off in the near future.

“I love this business and how it’s helped my and others’ mental health, and how I’m more sociable than ever. I’m so grateful that I am on a high in life rather than being deflated and unmotivated. I love genuinely helping people who don’t believe they are capable of great things, because everyone is totally worth it.

“My motto in life is ‘always be the best version of yourself.’

“I got this far by staying committed and keeping in contact with my mentor when I was struggling to stay focused, because it can be hard. One thing you do need to learn is believe in yourself and anything is possible.

“A fun fact about me is once I start talking I never stop!”
