7 BRIDGES TO RECOVERY SHELTER - ATLANTA, GA
7 Bridges to Recovery is a non-profit 501c3 organization that reaches out to the lost and broken of Atlanta and beyond. Based off of Isaiah 58:6-8, their goal is to end homelessness in Atlanta and beyond with the love of Christ, one person at a time. They are the “Rescue Team for Jesus!”
We blessed the women today with much needed toiletries and gift cards to get them through the holiday season. We are grateful for everyone who was able to give to the PlanNet Cares Foundation. Thank you to PlanNet Cares Board members who were able to attend: Kwanya Martin, President, Trudy Scott, Vice-President, Jassy McBride, Secretary, Cynthia Shelton, Treasurer, Tia Ervin, Board Member, Lisa Works, Board Member, and Joy Dawkins, Board Member. Also in attendance were Donald and Deborah Bradley, Co-Directors.
SOLACE WOMEN’S AID
Solace Women’s Aid exists to end the harm done through Violence Against Women and Girls. Their aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors, particularly women and girls. Their work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.
Approximately $2000 in US Dollars was donated to this UK women’s shelter, led by PlanNet Cares UK Representative, Taryn Sinclair. Unfortunately we were unable to take pictures due to the Covid lockdown in the UK.

SISTERCARE OF COLUMBIA, SC
Sistercare’s mission is to provide services and to advocate for domestic violence survivors and their children, and to promote prevention of domestic violence through community awareness and training. Sistercare is the only organization that specifically offers shelter and support services for survivors and their children in Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, Newberry, and Fairfield counties.
PlanNet Cares Foundation made a monetary donation in the amount of $2000 to the SisterCare organization in Columbia, SC. The donation will be used to purchase essential items needed for its women and children's programs.

HOUSTON AREA WOMEN’S CENTER
The Houston Area Women’s Center works to end domestic and sexual violence and supports all in building safe and healthy lives through advocacy, counseling, education, shelter and support services. Their services are free, confidential and available to everyone.
PlanNet Cares Board Member Yolanda Rollins led the mission to ensure the Houston Area Women’s Center had the essential needs for its women and children. Approximately $2000 in clothing, tech supplies and gift cards were purchased by the PlanNet Cares Foundation and all were delivered in time for the Christmas holidays!
THE BETTY ANN KRAHNKE CENTER, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD
The Betty Ann Krahnke (BAK) Center is a domestic violence shelter for women and their children in Montgomery County, MD. BAK provides a safe and confidential short-term residence for families fleeing domestic violence and victims of sexual assault. The center provides a 24/7 Emergency shelter for women and their children, intervention that includes case management and professional group and individual counseling, and child focused intervention and limited child care services.
60 Bed domestic violence shelter (16 women and their children)
Annually serves 200 women; 350 children (newborn to age 17)
