1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I'm from East London, UK and have been born and brought up here my entire life! I currently live with my husband (thank you, Prash, for being so supportive with everything I do) and my two little monkeys who I honestly cannot imagine my life without. I have a two-year-old, Amaara, and a three-month-old, Shayla. A few of my hobbies are spending time with my family, booking spontaneous trips abroad, and I can't seem to resist a good deal from Amazon (which my team knows me very well for)!
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
All my life, I've had such low self esteem. To many people, I come across as someone who is confident and bubbly, but in reality, I have always questioned my self worth. I used to think I was never good enough for a particular job, or I was not good enough to earn a certain salary because I didn't achieve the best results at university, or I wasn't good enough to enjoy my life because I didn't deserve it, etc. Little did I know, these beliefs were formed from people who I used to associate myself with. PlanNet Marketing has allowed me to join a community where everyone EMPOWERS each other – there is literally no room for bringing anyone down. It has given me hope that I can achieve everything I have ever dreamed about and I actually believe that I can make it happen, because PlanNet Marketing does not judge me on my background, my ethnicity, my education, my past, whether I can commit to work 100% whilst having children – nothing like that at all. This has given me a boost of confidence that I can make anything happen if I just have SELF BELIEF.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My BIGGEST motivators are my two girls. Growing up, I barely got to spend time with my parents other than the weekend and the one summer holiday we would go abroad together. The memories I had spending time with my parents were honestly the best, and that is exactly what I want to do with my children. I want to create amazing moments and memories with them, but not just on weekends or during my annual leave; I want to create memories every day with them! Becoming a mum has completely changed my priorities, and I've realised there's no point working at a conventional job and only having roughly 30% of the year to truly live in the moment with my family. I would rather work hard for 2-3 years and live the rest of my life on my own terms, than work for someone else for 40 years!
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My team and the community we have created are my backbone. Without them, I don't think I would be where I am today. The love, the community, the way people go above and beyond just to see you succeed, has been such a breath of fresh air. I am truly lucky to have surrounded myself with a bunch of inspirational, motivational and driven people. A special thank you to my mentor, Lucy, for having more belief in me when I couldn't see it myself and for the constant support. Without her, I probably would have quit the business a long time ago, as I couldn't see the bigger picture and I had too many self doubts! And a special thank you to my entire team who are all an incredible bunch of people who inspire me everyday to be better.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Unstoppable, driven & passionate.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
If I had to give advice to anyone it would be to have SELF BELIEF and be CONSISTENT. Without self belief, you are your own greatest enemy of any progress and achieving your goals (and trust me when I say that as I have learned this myself the hard way). The only limits we have are the limits we believe. The second you have self belief you become unstoppable. And consistency plays a massive role in this business. A lot of people underestimate the power of consistency, but having a positive mindset and daily habits will take you far in this business.
A special thank you to Mr Bradley for not just allowing average people to live an above average lifestyle, but for putting families first. Never in a million years did I think I would have an opportunity where my future generations, let alone my children, would be financially secure. All it took was for me to invest into this business which costs less than my internet bill.
