Keisha shares, “I am proudly Philadelphia, PA born and raised and currently residing in Collingdale, PA, right outside of Philadelphia. I love to study everything and watch the Philadelphia Eagles and tennis! But mostly I LOVE to travel!! I have been to 18 countries including Ghana, Cuba, Thailand, Singapore, China, England, France, Mexico and a host of Caribbean nations. My two favorite places in the US are Las Vegas and New Orleans. And, when it comes to football…I have to watch by myself because I scream and holler so much that it's embarrassing to me.
“The road to success was for sure a bumpy one for me! While I never considered quitting my business, I did give up like a thousand times, but I kept jumping back in the game and eventually I stayed focused just enough to get it done. Honestly, I feel blessed! I now see the power of staying in there and being focused, and it paid off.
“My awesome sponsor, Mrs. Ann Jones, taught me about DMOs (Daily Methods of Operation), which helped me to just focus on IPAs and not long term goals or my vision. We decided focusing on bite-sized accomplishments was the way to go because I was being way too analytical. Because of this, I was actually able to check off some of my big goals. Once I finally submitted to that process, I became a Director in about 45 days! I must say, my teammates were just as excited as I was and they got in the trenches with me!!
