MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER OLA ABBAS!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Ola Abbas to the 20/20 Club! Ola is from Iraq and currently lives in Manchester, UK. She tells us, “I was born during a war, lived through a war, and immigrated from my country during another war. While in the UK, I completed my qualification and I currently work as a critical care and acute medicine consultant in the National Health Service. It’s in my blood to always find a way to make things work out for the best.
“My interests are of course travel, food, and fashion. I have visited 18 countries in 12 months in 2019, and overall I have been to over 80 cities in 30 different countries across three continents. My plan is to visit all 195 countries! My craziest travel intention is to travel the longest walking route in the world which spans from South Africa to Northern Russia; I hope I can make that a reality. I truly believe I wasn’t born to live in one place.
“I’m achieving success because I am consistent with my daily business-building activities and I am consistently developing my skill. I started my business with no business skills, near to no network in a foreign country where I had no family, very few friends, and also during a pandemic! But I understood that taking daily action and developing myself regardless of who’s around me, who supports me, and what’s happening in the world will get me the results I aspire to.
“The number one tip I can share with others to achieve any success they desire in life is to be hungry, willing, and coachable. It doesn’t matter where you are from, who you are, what experiences you’ve had in the past, or what people think you can and can’t do. If you are hungry, willing, and coachable then you can achieve any level of success you desire. Another tip is to stay close to the fire! Always stay close to your upline, close to your organization, to people who inspire you and support you to take action and grow.
“A fun fact about me is I competed in the UK Galaxy beauty pageant. I loved being able to represent women of my age and background and show that you can be a strong independent female working on her goals and dreams, yet also be a beautiful female in a pretty dress.”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CINDY DAVERN!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Cindy Davern to the 20/20 Club! Cindy was born in New York City, NY, raised in Jackson, NJ and currently resides near the shore in Manchester, NJ, with her husband, Scott. She says, “We are almost empty nesters, and are the proud parents of two incredible young men, Scott, 26 and John, 22. I worked 35 years as a full-time Special Education Teacher before retiring three years ago. My interests are sport photography, watching my sons compete in cross country and track/field (yes, still have one competing), dancing and now traveling.
“My travel experiences have included summers with my aunt and uncle in Puerto Rico, honeymoon in Jamaica, 40th birthday in Bermuda, trips to Disney, Aruba, and Punta Cana. Fast forward to retiring, I try to travel every month! This year alone I have been to Melbourne, Tampa and Miami, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Calabash, North Carolina; Colorado Springs, Breckenridge, and Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake, Murray, Park City, Moab, Utah; and Dallas, Texas! I am loving my life in the best place on the PlanNet!
“I started this business with the need to help my boys with college. It was not about the travel; I did not even realize my passion for travel at that time. After speaking with Director Orlanda Moore in Miami this June, I realized that my why had definitely changed from when I started four years ago. My why was not about those boys, but it was about ME and who I knew I needed to be and what I needed to do for myself and others.
“I am achieving success by being consistent, staying plugged in, reading, committing to the process and remaining coachable! There are times when the business gets difficult, but I always remember this phrase by Director Rachel Russell, ‘Don’t let the process punk you out of your promise.’ I refuse to quit on myself, on my family, my business partners, and others who have poured into me. I have been told to trust the process and follow the system that is in place. In other words, duplication. I am learning to duplicate what I see my coach, sponsor, mentors and leadership doing. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel that has been invented and used.
“If I could give any of you a tip, it would be to stay consistent, stay plugged in, trust the process, be coachable, do the work, the power is in the follow-up and get out of your own way! Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Take a mental and physical break, but don’t quit on yourself. Create duplication, lead by example and from the front! Just do it!
“Fun facts about me: I spoke Spanish the first seven years of my life! I volunteer as a foster dog mom!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LEYSHON EVANS!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome LeyShon Evans to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, “I am from Richmond, VA and a proud graduate of Norfolk State University. However, I moved to Atlanta, GA at a very young age because my Dad was seeking a high level management position with Delta Airlines. He accepted the job and that's where my love for travel began. We traveled everywhere. I even have pictures of me as young as two years old sitting in First Class enjoying the ‘Royal Service’ while traveling to London, Paris, Rome and the Caribbean Islands. I currently reside in Kansas City, MO where I'm an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Jack and Jill of America. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 16 years and have three beautiful boys, Zachary, Isaiah, and Noah, and our grandson, Zachary, Jr. Chris and I vowed that we would take our children to all 50 states before they graduated. We're proud to say we only have 12 states and four years left.
“In 2019, I only started with the travel business because I did not want to be a network marketer. I was terrified of rejection and did not want to be on the emotional roller coaster ride. I kept thinking about my ‘Why’ which is financial freedom and generational wealth. I decided to get M.A.D. and join PlanNet Marketing in March of 2021. There's no turning back now....
“The reason I have achieved success is by being coachable, staying plugged in and duplicating the system. Remaining consistent and organized goes a long way in this industry. All we have to do is show up and follow the leader.
“A fun fact about me is that I have not worked for anyone since 2005. My husband and I took over his family's business of screen printing T-shirts, embroidery and promotional products and have not looked back to corporate America since. Our motto is, ‘Promoting YOU is what WE do!!!’ Now I sell T-Shirts and Travel. T-N-T BOOOOM!!!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER LUCHANDA GENIUSZ!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Luchanda Geniusz to the 20/20 Club! Luchanda tells us, “I was born in Kingston, Jamaica to a teen mother at the tender age of 15, but I was raised and adopted by my grandaunt and her husband, where I was cared for as a child. It was at the age of six that I found passion in travelling when Dad would take me on different trips within Jamaica that allowed me to dream. I still remember my very first trip on an aeroplane and how excited I felt at six years old. After finishing high school, I studied hospitality and began to work in hotels and later migrated to South Carolina, where I currently reside with my husband and two daughters.
“My travel experiences have been amazing. Our little family enjoys going up to the mountains and renting a cabin during the winter, cruises during the summer months, and enjoying different places in the states as well as the Caribbean. My husband loves history and I always make it a point to do one thing for every person.
“I think the reason I've been achieving success is because I have a number of leaders around me whom I ask questions to daily. I try to mimic what they do as they receive success. I also told myself that if this made sense to me, then it will make sense to someone else, and just go for the no and celebrate the yes. I also ask a lot of questions and ask for help because I know I don't know it all.
“My tips are to be yourself, be transparent and honest and simply just learn the system and go to work. I'm simply breaking barriers with travel and showing people that they can enjoy life outside of where they were born.”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER MICHELLE MCCORMACK!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Michelle McCormack to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, “I’m 42 years old and am from Dumfries, Scotland. I'm a single parent to three gorgeous children aged 18, 7 and 3.
“I love travelling, cooking and spending quality time with my family. My passion for travel developed when I was 16 years old and I went to college to study Travel and Tourism. I then chose a different career path and went on to study and work in accounts and finance, so when I came across this business, I just had to get involved. Best decision ever!!
“My top tips for this business are setting goals, knowing what your next goal is and being willing to make some sacrifices in order to get there. Consistency is very important as well as being relentless and never letting the hurdles along the journey hold you back.
“A fun fact about me is that if I had to eat one type of food for the rest of my life it would be Chinese!!”
MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER JAMIE VELASQUEZ!
PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jamie Velasquez to the 20/20 Club! Jamie was born and raised in Eastern CT, but moved to Knoxville, TN when she was 30. She says, “I am married to my best friend and have three amazing boys who are 18, 12, and 6. I am also a full-time nurse.
“My love for travel started when I was young. My mom took me to Hawaii when I was 11, Spain when I was 14, and Disney. We also did a lot of camping in New Hampshire. My husband and I have taken one vacation a year with the kids. We did a cruise, went to Puerto Rico, and Florida. Since starting my business, we have been traveling so much more, and we love it! I just got back from the Dominican Republic and Hawaii!!
“I try my hardest to be consistent with PlanNet Marketing, and tell everyone about my business. I make sure to brag about my trips and share with people all my wonderful experiences.
“A fun fact about me…I had two of my boys on the same day, six years apart. They even look like twins, with an age difference!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER
Here are more “Scary Truths from PlanNet Marketing.” The truth about following the Policies and Procedures and remaining legal and ethical in your business dealings can be very scary, but with a few tips and a healthy dose of knowledge your PlanNet Marketing business won’t elicit fear in the hearts of you or your business partners.
The Scary Truth About NOT Following the Rules!
Financial Freedom, Personal Freedom, Time Freedom – at PlanNet Marketing, we want our Reps to feel completely free! But these freedoms come at a cost. *do, do, DOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*
In order to keep PlanNet up and running and keep offering the amazing opportunities we have to so many, there are rules that must be followed. At PlanNet Marketing, our rules are called the Policies and Procedures, or P&Ps, as I lovingly refer to them. They govern how we do business every day. They keep me in line, they keep you in line, they keep us all on the same page and protected. Without these, we would be lost! NOOOOOO!
Oh yes, it’s scary, but true. Without the P&P’s there would be no PlanNet Marketing – and that, my friends, is the scariest truth of all!
So, what do we have to do to keep ourselves on the right track and away from the scary shadows of non-compliance? FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!!!!
It really is that simple, educate yourself by reading the P&Ps and reading my weekly compliance blog, send any questions or inquiries to Compliance@plannetmarketing.com, and if you accidentally break a rule and I contact you about it – respond quickly with your plan to get back into compliance with the rules.
Now, for the really scary part – the consequences for NOT following the rules are dire!!
Violation of the Policies and Procedures, any law, or any act or omission by a Rep that may damage PlanNet’s reputation (even if the act isn’t related to your PlanNet Marketing business), may result in disciplinary action! *WooooooooOOOOOOOooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
Here’s the scary stuff – don’t follow the rules, and PlanNet may elect to:
• Issue a written warning or admonition
• Require the Rep to take immediate corrective measures
• Impose a fine, which may be withheld from bonus and commission checks
• Loss of rights to one or more bonus and commission checks
• Withhold from a Rep all or part of their bonuses and commissions during the period that PlanNet Marketing is investigating any conduct contrary to the P&Ps
• Suspension of the individual’s Rep account for one or more pay periods
• Involuntary termination of the offender’s Rep account
• Any other measure expressly allowed within the P&Ps
• Instituting legal proceedings for monetary and/or equitable relief
I know the list above is definitely scary, but remember, the scary stuff is in place to protect you and your business! If you have any questions about today’s scary truth or any compliance matter, please email me at Compliance@plannetmarketing.com.

CONGRATULATIONS TO REBECCA SMITH FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!
MEET NEW ONE-STAR DIRECTOR CAROLINE HAMILTON!
PlanNet Marketing congratulates Caroline Hamilton for achieving One-Star Director! She tells us, “I am originally from Wales in the United Kingdom, but my home is now London where I have lived for nearly 20 years. I have been married to my husband, Oliver, for 13 years and I am Mummy to three amazing boys who are 11, 9 and 6 years old.
“My husband and I have always loved to travel and we didn’t want that to change once we had children. We love to visit new places and we want to show our boys the world, and this business is making that possible. Our favourite places to visit, of course with three boys, are Disney and Dubai as they love an active holiday, but we also love to explore the UK and Europe.
“I have always adored travel, so sharing with others how they can also make an income from their love of travel has come very naturally to me and is something I love to do. I love meeting new people, building relationships and showing them how they can build a successful travel business. I also love to see the incredible impact this opportunity has on my team's lives; not just financially, but also the flexibility and time freedom that are possible through this.
“My tips for anyone starting out would be to stay consistent and learn from those who are already succeeding, watch what the leaders in your team are doing and repeat. Consistency is key; show up every day for your team, and also to inspire people to join you who have the same work ethic.
“I feel so lucky to be part of the most incredible team and for the support that I have had to reach my goals so far. Everyone is always cheering each other on, which is so unique about this business. I am forever motivated by my mentor, Rachael Lalji, and her incredible work ethic, she inspires me every day to push myself closer to my goals. I also have the most incredible people in my own team who I love working with every day and who bring so much energy to the team. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this business and cannot wait to see where it takes both me and my team in the future.”

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: SHELLI MERCER
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am a divorced mom of two adult sons, a retired Verizon FIOS installer and a pastry chef. I love baking, traveling, dancing, singing, reading, watching movies and spending time with my family. I have been a serial entrepreneur most of my life and started my first venture as an Avon lady when I was 27, then became a Tupperware manager, a Creative Memories rep (scrapbooking), an Herbal Life rep, and then decided to start my own online bakery. My greatest accomplishment of all of them has been my bakery, which I have owned and operated by myself for six years.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I am definitely not the person I was two years ago when I joined PlanNet! I have been able to get out of my comfort zone in a lot of areas. I moved out of my own way and focused on following the leadership and developing myself mentally by reading a lot more than I ever had prior to joining PlanNet. I have much more confidence in myself as a leader for my team than I did in my first week in the business, after signing on two new business partners within four days. I’ve learned that a TEAM will allow you to achieve more than if you go it alone.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
In the beginning, once I knew what I could leave behind for my grandchildren who have not even been born yet, it was the PlanNet Pledge! Just knowing that I could leave a legacy behind and create generational wealth for my family lit a fire under me that drove me to get to directorship. Now that I am a One-Star️ Director and secured my legacy, my drive is focused on helping my business partners achieve the same thing! I want to see all of my business partners who desire to be directors become directors and continue to help many families start their business and do the same!
4. The three words that describe you best are:
Determined, Focused and Unstoppable.
5. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Never give up on yourself! We are all here for a purpose and God does not put us on a path that we are not supposed to walk! Listen to your coaches and your mentors, because they are there to help you and not hinder you! If I had not listened to the coaching and the mentoring that I received, I would not be a One-Star Director today. I still listen to my mentors and my coaches, because with each level, there’s new learning! Stay plugged in to the PlanNet and never miss an event that you are qualified to attend!
6. What does your life look like five years from now?
My life five years from now will be amazing, because I will be a millionaire living very comfortably in a home close to the beach! I will own a home somewhere where it’s warm all year round, where I can enjoy watching my grandchildren play while I relax. I will still be working this business and helping families secure financial freedom, personal freedom, and time freedom, because this truly is the Best Place on the PlanNet!
