MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CINDY DAVERN!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Cindy Davern to the 20/20 Club! Cindy ‌was‌ ‌born‌ in New York City, NY, raised in ‌Jackson, NJ and currently resides near the shore in Manchester, NJ, with her husband, Scott. She says, “We are almost empty nesters, and are the ‌‌proud parents ‌of two incredible young men, Scott, 26 and John, 22.‌ ‌I‌ ‌worked‌ ‌35 years as a full-time Special Education Teacher before retiring three years ago. My interests are sport photography, watching my sons compete in cross country and track/field (yes, still have one competing), dancing and now traveling.

“My travel experiences have included summers with my aunt and uncle in Puerto Rico, honeymoon in Jamaica, 40th birthday in Bermuda, trips to Disney, Aruba, and Punta Cana. Fast forward to retiring, I try to travel every month! This year alone I have been to Melbourne, Tampa and Miami, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Calabash, North Carolina; Colorado Springs, Breckenridge, and Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake, Murray, Park City, Moab, Utah; and Dallas, Texas! I am loving my life in the best place on the PlanNet!

“I started this business with the need to help my boys with college. It was not about the travel; I did not even realize my passion for travel at that time. After speaking with Director Orlanda Moore in Miami this June, I realized that my why had definitely changed from when I started four years ago. My why was not about those boys, but it was about ME and who I knew I needed to be and what I needed to do for myself and others.

“I am achieving success by being consistent, staying plugged in, reading, committing to the process and remaining coachable! There are times when the business gets difficult, but I always remember this phrase by Director Rachel Russell, ‘Don’t let the process punk you out of your promise.’ I refuse to quit on myself, on my family, my business partners, and others who have poured into me. I have been told to trust the process and follow the system that is in place. In other words, duplication. I am learning to duplicate what I see my coach, sponsor, mentors and leadership doing. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel that has been invented and used.

“If I could give any of you a tip, it would be to stay consistent, stay plugged in, trust the process, be coachable, do the work, the power is in the follow-up and get out of your own way! Be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Take a mental and physical break, but don’t quit on yourself. Create duplication, lead by example and from the front! Just do it!

“Fun facts about me: I spoke Spanish the first seven years of my life! I volunteer as a foster dog mom!”
