CONGRATULATIONS TO JEAN FREEMAN FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!

Jean-Freeman-1Star-Announce.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to announce Jean Freeman as one of our newest One-Star Directors! Jean was born and raised in San Diego, California. She tells us, “My family moved here when my Dad enlisted in the Navy. My family roots are in Hope, Arkansas. I have lived in Bonita, California, a suburb just outside of San Diego, for thirty years. Bonita is a “little bit of country” near the big city. I love the fact that only 12,000 people live in the valley. My husband, Sam, and I have known each other for over thirty years, and we have been married for eight years. I am the mother of two adult sons and the grandmother of two. I enjoy going to smooth jazz and R&B concerts. I especially love when I can combine my love of music with traveling to new and exciting destinations.

“I love, love, love traveling and seeing the world. Travel has always been my passion, but since opening my own travel agency, I have kicked my travel experiences into full gear. I have traveled to Spain, Greece, Italy, Croatia, United Arab Emirates, China, Cuba, and have taken a number of cruises. I never thought this level of travel could have been possible in my lifetime. This truly amazes me that the granddaughter of an Arkansas sharecropper who had never traveled more than 125 miles from Hope, Arkansas has traveled all over the world!

When asked how she has achieved success in PlanNet Marketing, Jean says, “I am dedicated to PlanNet Marketing. I live, dream, and sleep thinking about PlanNet and how the opportunity can change lives. I guess you can say that I am driven. Although I did not immediately recognize the scope and power of our business, I am thankful and grateful for the mentors and coaches who have supported me in understanding what we have and how we can use our business to make dreams come true. I find great satisfaction in knowing that we can empower others to obtain financial and time freedom. I treasure my team and how we have worked together to change lives. I am very proud of my team and how we have supported each other. I am most proud of the fact that we are all still passionate about travel, but we have started to build teams to support others in designing their ideal life.

“I am confident I have been successful due to our powerful and dedicated leadership. I am thankful that my coach and Two-Star Director, Charles Kindred, never gave up on me. He continued to call plays and guide me through the process. Director Kindred provided support when I became discouraged. He also provided the necessary feedback to redirect me. The key to success is duplication. Coach Kindred always pointed this fact out to me whenever I needed to gain an understanding of why I was hitting the “brick wall” we all hit at some time in our career. He continued to stress the following to me whenever I needed to hear these key concepts; “FOLLOW THE LEADER…TRUST THE PROCESS…DUPLICATION IS THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS.”

“I am very thankful to our Five-Star Director, Eileen Ross, for her leadership and dedication to our team. Director Ross has been instrumental in building and supporting our team. Ms. Ross has always been there to lead by example, answer questions, and mentor our team. Thank you, Director Ross, for supporting me and my growth.

“I cannot stress the following enough: It is crucial for everyone to stay plugged in and to attend every meeting and training opportunity so you can strengthen your understanding and knowledge of our products. In addition, it is important for you to be coachable. I am not ashamed to admit that being coachable was not always easy for me, but as soon as I learned this fact, many things started to fall into place. I am so thrilled to be a part of PlanNet Marketing. I want to publicly thank and recognize Mr. Donald Bradley for his foresight and his vision. Thank you, Mr. Bradley, for changing the financial bloodline of my family and for providing opportunities that I never could have envisioned. Because of your efforts, you have allowed me to leave a legacy for my grandchildren. I no longer have to worry about how to finance their college education or assist them in the future. I owe my success to PlanNet Marketing’s outstanding leadership and business model. For this reason, I am thankful, grateful, and blessed to be a part of the team.

“The first step in any addiction is to admit you have a problem. I admit, I am addicted to travel. PlanNet Marketing is fulfilling and supporting my travel addiction. However, I strongly believe, ‘If there’s a cure for this…I don’t want it!’ I am creating the type of life I have always dreamed of and I love it!”

MEET NEW 40/40 CLUB MEMBER LAWANDA BAKER!

4040club_baker.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Lawanda Baker to the 40/40 Club! Lawanda is a native of Jackson, Tennessee and currently resides in Alabaster, Alabama. An award-winning graphic designer, Lawanda is the epitome of art – “I love art and all things creative.” Her artistic appetite only enhances her love to explore. Being a travel business owner has allowed her to fulfill a dream of traveling to France with her daughter, Laila. Of course, that is only the beginning. She tells us, “It is miraculous to see the change in my daughter’s mindset. PlanNet Marketing has allowed me to set a bar that’s above the norm and as a result my daughter now has an above average picture of the world as well.”

Additionally, this business has been a financial lifeline for Lawanda and her daughter. After climbing the corporate ladder, becoming an expert in the field of graphic design, and building someone else’s dreams for nearly 20 years, Lawanda was terminated from her corporate job. “Thank God for PlanNet Marketing! Not only was I able to feel more financially secure during that time frame, but because of the leadership principles and relentless mindset that has been poured into me, I knew a 9-5 was not my only option. Because of my focus and determination, PlanNet Marketing has also allowed me the opportunity to pay off debt and save. All these things were made possible because I made the decision to GET STARTED and NEVER GIVE UP!

“Special thanks to Mr. Donald Bradley for his insight, wisdom and vision for this company! Thanks to my coach and sponsor, Mr. Orlanda Moore. And of course, thanks to my amazing team, business partners, sideline partners, family, and friends for your continued support and encouragement!”

Though she is still very much a student of the industry and has many levels to reach, Lawanda eagerly and humbly shares a few tips she has learned along the way. “Become a sponge, absorb everything you hear and see…COPY your leader and their work patterns, DECIDE that you will become successful. Leaders are not born, they simply decide to lead, so make the decision and just DO IT. And once you have made that decision, position yourself to be groomed into the best leadership version of yourself! My coach, Mr. Moore, tells us that in order to function at a high level of leadership, you must not only coach, train, and develop your team, but YOU must be open to being coached, trained, and developed as well. Last but not least, never give up – STICK and STAY!

MEET NEW 40/40 CLUB MEMBER ANGELICA TURNER!

4040club_turner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Angelica Turner to the 40/40 Club! Angelica currently lives in Jacksonville, Alabama and her interests are traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She tells us, “Since I’ve become a travel agent, I have had the opportunity to travel to Turks & Caicos, Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico and to sail on my first cruise this year. I am looking forward to traveling out of the country this year with my family.

“I am achieving success at PlanNet Marketing by keeping God first in all I do and showing others that you can do this if you stay consistent.  This company has truly changed my life in all aspects! The key is to stay consistent, set clear expectations, and follow up, and follow up some more!”

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CHELCIE BEADNELL!

Chelcie-Beadnell-2020-Banner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Chelcie Beadnell to the 20/20 Club! Chelcie was born and raised in the Central Ohio area and currently lives in a very small town (only around 850 people) about an hour outside of Columbus, OH. She lives with her husband, their 18-month-old daughter Fiona, two dogs (Gryff and Artie), and one cat (Mr. Dingles). Chelcie shares, “I love hanging out with my family and playing outside. Outside of that, my favorite things are elephants, Harry Potter, and all things Disney.

“I started traveling at a very young age. My father is originally from France, so we went to visit family in Europe when I was about nine months old. Since then, I’ve visited 15 different countries. Travel is in my blood and that’s why I jumped at this opportunity when I found it. I started as an ITA only in May, 2017 and about a year later was given a fresh perspective on the industry of network marketing and dove into PlanNet Marketing. I’m so grateful that I made that leap.

“The biggest tip that I can give is not to quit. Don’t even give yourself the option. You will have bad days – own them and learn from them. Even take a small break if you need it…just don’t abandon your business. If you keep going, keep learning, keep improving…you will find success. Another piece of advice is to focus less on outcome goals and more on activity goals. Before I learned this lesson, I was feeling defeated every time I missed a goal date. We can’t control how many people join our team or book travel with us. What we can control is the number of people we talk to, follow up with, invite to a meeting, send a quote to, etc. If you focus on those, you’ll reach your outcome goals.  Consistency is key!”

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER ARNITA DAVIS!

Arnita-Davis-2020-Banner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Arnita Davis to the 20/20 Club! Arnita was born in Chattanooga, TN and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She currently lives in Stockbridge, GA, just south of Atlanta. Arnita shares, “Outside of building successful marketing and travel companies, I like to spend time with my daughters (27 and 21 years old) and try to keep up with an extremely smart four-year-old little man who is my favorite grandson (he’s my only grandchild so I can say he’s my favorite)!  Ministry is also a big part of my life and I am very active in the women’s ministry at my home church. as well as part of a team that plans a women’s conference for Overflow Ministries International.

“I love all things travel (except packing a suitcase but that’s another story for another day). I’ve travelled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands (my favorite so far), Mexico, and I’ve been to 22 of the 50 states. Dubai, Australia, Alaska, and Hawaii are a few places on my bucket list. I really like what Susan Sontag said, ‘I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list!’  I’m sure there are places that I haven’t even heard of yet that I would like to visit and one day, I plan to go there too!

“My success at PlanNet Marketing stems from staying consistent, coachable and humble. Attending weekly company meetings, events, and team meetings consistently has allowed me to pick up tidbits that I use to help my business grow. Taking notes, studying, and applying what I’ve learned go a long way. Also, I have the best bunch of coaches around who constantly push and challenge me to do better and go further. And lastly, learning from my team has also helped me. Trust and believe that if you listen close enough you can learn a lot from just about anyone.

“A fun fact: being near the water is my favorite place to be and one day I will be running my businesses from some oceanview location!”

PLANNET MARKETING SPOTLIGHT ON: KIRSTIE MASTIN-MONTAGUE

Kirstie-Mastin-Montague-Spotlight-Jul_y19.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. I am a wife and a mom to two girls, one of whom is an all-around softball and basketball player. She keeps us going with tournaments, etc., and I love watching her play and her excitement to win.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I’ll be transparent – when I started this business at the age of 26, you couldn’t tell me anything. I knew it all and I was going to say whatever was on my mind, good or bad. I actually walked out of a job because the boss called me derogatory names. I didn’t take any mess. Over the past two years, I have learned different ways to talk to certain people. I learned to be coachable, listen to plays being called, and actually take action and duplicate it down to my team. I have learned to run with the runners and walk with the walkers and pick those walkers up when they are ready to run. I learned not everyone will want to run when it’s time, and that’s okay (GO WIDE)!! I have learned that not everyone wants to see you win, and that is okay!!

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My eight-year-old year old daughter is my inspiration and motivation. She’s been there from day one, cheering me on just like I do at her softball games. I also want my kids to experience places I never got to experience.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Rasheba McGowan. Not just because she is my sponsor, but because she has shown me how to be coachable, or made me come to events, or told me different things...and I would question, why am I doing this? And in the end, it’s what got me to One-Star Director. She has always been there for me, through good and bad times. She has the most uplifting spirit – you just can’t help but respect what she says and know this will work.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Introvert, Analytical, Goal getter

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
My main advice is always to not let gossip or non-income-producing talks get in the way of your business. I have had a lot of introverts reach out and ask how I did it. My answer is to stay coachable. I didn’t go live often. I didn’t go hand out business cards, but I stayed consistent in posting on social media. I kept my team plugged into everything I could. I explained to my team how important those first three millionaire seats are. Throughout these two and a half years, I’ve been pregnant and lost that same child four months after birth but I never gave up. Yes, I took time to grieve, but shut down business? No way. This has just fueled my fire and my heart will forever be indebted to PlanNet Marketing for standing with me through this time.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I say I’m following Mr. Orlanda Moore’s footsteps, but in reality, I want to at least be Three-Star and a six-figure earner. I want my kids to say I went to this or that destination for school breaks vs. the beach like we’ve been doing. Mr. Bradley also told me he wants to see us in New York, school shopping, so we’ll make that happen soon!

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

You own your own business – you are an Independent Marketing Representative for PlanNet Marketing. This means you make your own hours, do your own marketing and pay your own taxes. There’s no “time clock” or “hourly wage with tax withholding” or “employee handbook.” The time freedom, financial freedom and personal freedom this arrangement affords is what draws so many of our Reps to start a business with PlanNet Marketing. But just because you’re in the business of you, doesn’t mean you’re all alone.

No business is an island!

Even when you own your own business, you are in partnership with others – other businesses and other people. Your behavior, your work ethic, your motivation or lack thereof, affect those others. To protect our Reps (you and your team as well as other Reps and their teams) and to protect PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel – there are some rules we’ve put into place. These rules are the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures.

Some of you have never been a business owner before. You may not think you should be required to follow the rules of other companies – PlanNet or InteleTravel. You may not be concerned with what others think of your social media posts or your website or your marketing materials. You may not even respond to requests for your attention to business matters. These are things that all business owners will learn eventually, but to help you out, I’m telling you today – those things are IMPORTANT to running a successful and prosperous business.

man-on-island.jpg

As a business owner with PlanNet Marketing, it is your responsibility to follow PlanNet’s rules and United States Federal laws as well as any local laws for your country, region or city. Our rules begin by encouraging our Reps to always behave in a professional manner, putting forth their best effort to be positive, peaceful, and encouraging to those they meet while doing PlanNet business. This means if you’re speaking to someone about PlanNet or its owners or employees or other Reps – you say kind, positive and professional things. Don’t swear, don’t gossip, don’t air your negative feelings about a bad experience on social media.

Are you ALLOWED to do and say anything you please? Of course! You ARE the owner of your business. However, if you choose to conduct your business in an unprofessional way, not following rules, not behaving in an ethical manner, or choosing not to respond to requests for your attention to your business – there are consequences.  I won’t outline them all here today, but I would encourage you to view the “Disciplinary Sanctions” section of the Policies and Procedures. There you will find an extensive list of the consequences for not properly, professionally managing your business. As always, if you have questions about following the policies and procedures of PlanNet Marketing, you can email me directly at compliance@plannetmarketing.com

Owning a business can be a huge blessing, it can afford freedoms in your work life and personal life that you might not otherwise experience. But there are rules, guidelines and best practices that will allow you to prosper as a business owner. Lean on those around you, encouraging them and showing them respect. In doing so you’ll find your business the center of a bursting metropolis, not a lonely island.

GREAT WORK, TEAM!
LET'S ALL SHOOT FOR THE STARS!

CONGRATULATIONS TO JP WATKINS FOR ACHIEVING FIVE-STAR DIRECTOR!

JP-Watkins-5Star-Announce.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is very proud to announce that Director JP Watkins has achieved Five-Star Director! This prestigious rank requires a Five-Star Director to have 4,000 active ITAs in their downline. JP joins Six-Star Directors Shedrick White and Orlanda Moore, along with Five-Star Directors Natalie Graham and Eileen Ross as the newest shining star in this distinguished group of leaders.

Ms. JP Watkins has been an advocate for self-development and empowerment for over two decades. She began pouring into people as Miss Texas Southern University 1995-96 and speaking around the world as Miss Collegiate African American 1996-97, representing all HBCUs nationwide. From there, she spent 20 years in corporate America in property management, trying to make her mark, but only found herself spinning her wheels. She turned to the industry of network marketing 10 years ago and decided being an entrepreneur would be her path to truly empower herself and others.

JP Watkins is a trailblazer and a do-it-first leader, breaking walls, barriers, and stigmas – a woman leading the home-based business industry from the front, with a team of over 8,000 worldwide, and helping thousands of families supplement their incomes. She already has seven six-figure earners in her organization and is looking forward to producing three more this year!

Five-Star Director Watkins wants everyone to know that if she did it, you can do it too! She shares this sage advice,“No one is above THE PROCESS…no matter what pin or level you are at, you must go through your process. But on the other side of the process, you learn more, you earn more, you grow, and you are ultimately a better leader.

“Thank you to the ENTIRE PlanNet Marketing family for the outpouring of love and well wishes. I’m truly humbled and honored! Thank you, Mr. Donald Bradley, for your mentorship and leadership! Thank you for thinking of me. I am forever grateful for you and all you do!”

MEET NEW 40/40 CLUB MEMBER MELODIE WASHINGTON!

4040club_washington.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Founding Three-Star Director Melodie Washington to the 40/40 Club! Melodie shares, “My entrepreneurial journey started with a single sheet of paper – an annual Social Security statement. After fifteen years of working for Georgia state government, my projected retirement income looked more like a weekly check for a recent college graduate than that of a woman who had worked hard all her life. Climbing the corporate ladder and building someone else’s dreams would surely lead me to a broken brick wall and a nightmarish reality of living paycheck to paycheck. I knew I had to make some changes to have a brighter future.

“Equipped with this knowledge, a can-do attitude, and adept business acumen, I came to the decision that entrepreneurship was my path to financial freedom. Aware of the market shift in the travel industry, I set my sights on a business that would change my family’s legacy forever. Because of my focus and determination, PlanNet Marketing has allowed me the opportunity to pay off my debt, save and invest money, travel around the world, and pay for my son’s college tuition in cash. Not to mention it's allowing me to retire in the next 90 days. All these things were made possible because I made a decision to improve my circumstances.

“Special thanks to Mr. Donald Bradley, my leader, coach, mentor and friend. Without his vision and leadership, none of this would be possible. Thanks to my amazing team and business partners. They are the baddest and most relentless people on the PlanNet. To my sideline partners, family, and friends, thanks for your continued support and encouragement throughout this journey. I may not have come from a wealthy family…but…a wealthy family will definitely come from me.”
