Rodney was born in Kansas City, MO and his family moved to Maryland when he was a young child; he currently resides in Bowie, MD. Rodney relates, “When I graduated high school, I wanted to work – college at that time didn't appeal to me. I wanted to make money. I was fortunate to have gotten a job working in a Tape Library for NASA in Greenbelt, MD due to a recommendation from my neighbor who was a Tuskegee Airman (a great man). I worked and learned my way up through several positions – Dispatcher, Computer Operator, Lead Operator, Performance Analyst. Then 9/11 happened and I was laid off for 18 months. Then God and only God put me in a position to be hired by NOAA as an Aerospace Electronic Technician controlling, monitoring, and maintaining weather satellites for the U.S. But during those times I always had other business ventures, whether it be MLM or traditional. I learned early never to depend on or rely on a single source of income. I made money, lost money sometimes, but what I learned through those times helped me understand the ups and downs of the industry – be persistent, stay connected, build your belief level. Don't worry about the NOs because through them you will find the YES responses you need!
