PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Bobby and Colette Sherard to the 20/20 Club! Bobby tells us, We currently live in Goldsboro, NC. As a ‘military brat’ I was born in Goldsboro but lived in Germany, North Dakota, and Kentucky as a child. Colette was born in Brooklyn, New York but moved to Goldsboro with her family as a child. I am a high school band director who is also a retired military veteran, having served for 20 years in the US Air Force and US Army National Guard. Colette is a retired instructional assistant who worked for 30 years with the State of North Carolina.

“We both come from families that are involved in the arts, so it was no surprise that we met through the arts. Colette's father was a drummer with the legendary group The Last Poets and the founder of the Cultural Movement African Dance Company. Colette was raised as a dancer in her father's company in which I eventually became a drummer. And the rest is history!

“We both have a passion to travel. As a member of the military, I have traveled to several states as well as Germany, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Portugal. As a dancer with her father's company, Colette has traveled to Diego Garcia, Japan, Portugal, Iceland, Germany, London, and Sweden. Unfortunately, we have not traveled as much as a couple but we will take full advantage of being travel business owners now and accomplish that.

“Part of our success is attributed to our ‘why.’ We are focused on making a better life for our kids and grandchildren. We have four children and six grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way. It is our deep passion to leave an inheritance to our family that will be a blessing for generations to come. Also, we remained coachable, teachable, trainable, and committed to ourselves and our coaches to work our business. This business is truly a blessing because the more you are selfless, the more people you can help and impact. Our advice to those seeking to accomplish their goals is to remain truthful with yourself. If you fall off, look at yourself in the mirror and admit it. Then correct it and push harder. The awesome aspect of this business is that if you work it honestly, it will expose your weak areas. At that point, you have a choice to make...get better or deny it. Those that get better will achieve their goals. Those that deny it will blame the system and others for their failures.

“Thank you so much for choosing us to be featured in the blog. We are honored and do not take it lightly. We are grateful to our coaches and our team who make every day on the PlanNet a great day!”
