PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Leta Gibbs to the 20/20 Club! Leta is from Columbus, Ohio, and now lives in Chattanooga, TN. She tells us, “I am a diehard Fashionista who loves all things FABULOUS! On a serious note, I enjoy volunteering with Dress for Success and preparing other women on how to enter back into the workforce. It gives me joy to be their personal shopper who helps them pick out clothes/accessories, prepare for interviews and start a new opportunity.
“In addition, I really enjoy mentoring young girls, and my youngest mentor was age 12 when we met, but I have mentors in their 30s and 40s now. I met many of these young ladies when they were just teenagers and we have maintained our relationships throughout life’s hardships. Currently, I volunteer with a local non-profit organization in Chattanooga where I mentor a 15-year-old 9th grader and basketball player.
“Travel is my favorite pastime! I love exploring new places, creating new memories and making new friends. This past summer, I had the pleasure of visiting Los Cabos for my birthday. In addition, I made the pilgrimage to the Motherland where I connected with my ancestors in Ghana. While there in Accra, I participated in a naming ceremony. I am a member of Asante Village and my African name is “Yaa Serwaa,” which means “Humility.” Next year is a milestone birthday for me and I am planning my EXTRAvagant escape to a new decade.
“I work this business part-time and it is harder to find discretionary time now that we have returned back to work in the office. It has definitely been challenging trying to balance everything like Superwoman. Despite the obstacles, my focus is to remain coachable, connected to my coach, director, and accountability partner. Currently, I am participating in 30 Days & 30 Nights, which is stretching me outside of my comfort zone. However, I must remain focused and continue to PUSH (Prospect Until Something Happens).”
