1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, where I still live. I’ve been married for 11 years to my handsome, supportive husband, Will Smith. We have four sons and one grandson. I love reading and watching Jeopardy in my spare time. I was a travel agent with a previous company, but I found PlanNet Marketing to have a much more comprehensive compensation plan so I made the switch and never looked back.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I’ve grown by leaps and bounds in my personal development and I’ve read so many more books that have changed my relationships, my outlook on life and my inner self.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I'm driven by helping others succeed and leaving a lasting legacy for my children and their children. I want them to speak about me for years to come as the pioneer that led the way.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My grandmother, Lillie Wilson, is my role model. She worked hard for years and was the breadwinner, but never made my grandfather feel small or less than. She also taught me to support small business owners that we knew. She bought Mary Kay, Watkins products and life insurance from her friends to let them know she would always help them put food on the table, and she taught us to do the same.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Christian, Patient, Giving.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Don’t let anyone steer you away from the path you’re supposed to walk. Even when you’re tired and you can see the end of that road – keep walking.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I’ll be continuing to enjoy the fruits of my labor living debt-free, traveling to exotic places with my friends and family, and helping the next generation of leaders achieve the same.
