PlanNet Marketing congratulates Shelli Mercer for achieving One-Star Director! Shelli was born and raised in Cambridge, MA, and now lives in Brockton, MA. “I’m a retired Verizon outside technician, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a pastry chef. I love baking, traveling, reading, singing, action and comedy movies, amusement parks and time spent with family and friends.
“I have traveled to most of the Caribbean islands by cruise and land-based vacations. I have been able to travel to about half of the US but my goal is to visit all 50 states by the end of 2022. I also plan to travel internationally next year, visiting Greece, South Africa, Italy, Morocco, and Paris. I have a group trip to Dubai this September and I’m super excited!
“I had to learn to be consistent, persistent, and intentional about everything I do in my business, which has helped it to grow steadily. Building strong relationships with my directs and my downline has also helped to create a bond and cohesiveness that helps push us forward. The support here in PlanNet Marketing has been absolutely phenomenal. Stay plugged in to all meetings and trainings, get out of your own way and follow the right cats!! That’s exactly what I’ve been doing all while mentoring and coaching my team to do the same thing.
“Duplication is key to building a strong team! If your team is not duplicating, that means you're doing all the work! Work smarter, not harder! Success will come from watching, learning, and implementing what you’ve learned! If you’re not doing what’s been taught, how do you know it’ll work for you? You can’t follow a parked car. Be the evidence for your team and keep moving so they will follow you! NEVER GIVE UP!!! Keep working, keep pushing, get out of your comfort zone because trust me, the work will not forget you!
“A fun fact about me is that at 53, I went back to college full-time with 18-year-olds (fresh out of high school) while also working full-time. I was able to graduate Magna Cum Laude and received my Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. With this degree, I was able to open an online bakery that I ran for six years! This business has allowed me the ability to retire my bakery in September and make it a hobby!
