1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
As a first-generation American born to Nigerian parents, I was born and raised in Denton, Texas and currently live in San Antonio, Texas with my husband and business partner, Aaron, and our four beautiful daughters. We love to cruise, play volleyball, and karaoke as a family. We are very blessed to have achieved the PlanNet Pledge in our 8-month run to Directorship because now our girls understand the motivation behind our journey...their future and welfare. Building an enterprise over the past year was both exciting and unnerving.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
As a Director, I love to mentor and coach my team, but what I've also found is that they mentor and coach me in the way they teach me valuable life lessons each and every day. We have the most educated, most militarily-affiliated, and most innovative team members in the travel industry and meeting each and every one of them has been a blessing to our lives.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives and motivates me is the idea of seeing people's lives changed through this business opportunity. When I hear the stories of how someone came from humble means and used this business to level up, or when I hear stories about the short-term sacrifices people made for long-term vision and goals, I thank God for bringing this opportunity into my life.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model is my mother and business partner, Joy Ikeme, a natural-born leader who always knows what to do and when to do it. She never shies away from a challenge and believes that all people, regardless of their mistakes, deserve a second chance. She embodies "impossible is nothing" because she believes that anything is possible and she passed on that idea to me.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Compassionate, Mentor, and Girl-Mom.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Resolve to have no regrets! You want to open a business? Do it. You want to go skydiving? Do it. We are only given one life in which we never truly live life to the fullest. No more playing small to make others around you comfortable...live life on your own terms, to the fullest, and watch everything else fall into place.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
God willing, five years from now, Aaron and I will be Six-Star Directors continuing to help business partners start their businesses and running alongside them as they chase their American dream.
