MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER GINA ADAMS!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Gina Adams to the 20/20 Club! Gina was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and now resides in Glen Burnie, MD, a suburb of Baltimore. She tells us, “I love learning new things and I love helping people! When I make time for myself, I enjoy binging on television series I haven’t seen.

“My first trip was to Cleveland, Ohio to go to the Rock & Roll Museum, and I flew alone. After that initial shock, I found myself as a federal agent hopping on planes and trains traveling anywhere I was needed. It was then I realized just how much I enjoyed traveling, particularly learning some form of history from each of my destinations. I now make it a point to travel at least three to four times per year, even if it’s in my own state.

“My success at PlanNet Marketing comes from being transparent and making a connection with individuals. I once heard that stories sell, so I share something about myself that people can relate to. Some of us have been unemployed, and so have I. I know the feeling of not wanting to get up and feeling like a failure because I always got the job – until I didn’t. You begin to question your confidence and wonder what you are lacking that kept you from getting the job. So when I find myself having that type of discussion, I make a connection because they know where I am coming from. Now their interest is piqued to know how I overcame that obstacle. The decision to give up getting nails done bi-weekly to once a month allowed $60 for my monthly dues. It was a sacrifice, but I did it. The point is if you want something bad enough, you will find a way. The reward to myself is building a relationship with prospects and business partners and watching them have success.

“My tip is don’t impress me with material items until you can show me how you achieved them. Listen for the need, so your prospect will have the same want as you – this is the key to a successful business relationship. Never leave anyone behind; give them exactly what is needed for success. I treat my business partners like a dating relationship by being consistent and checking in frequently.

“I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Masters in Justice & Security Administration and Masters in Psychology and as of April 25, I will be in the JD law program at George Mason University, which has a 12% acceptance rate. In 2015, I received a Meritorious Civilian Award and Medal for dedication and commitment during the 2015 riots in Baltimore. For this instance, I ensured that National Guardsmen who were injured received immediate treatment and care while I completed all paperwork and made sure all that were activated were paid in a timely fashion.”
