1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Washington, DC and I currently reside in Upper Marlboro, MD, just 10 minutes outside of Washington, DC. I'm a single mother of two adult children, a daughter (29) and son (25). I love spending quality time with my family making lasting memories, whether it's at home watching movies, having dinner together or taking a family vacation. However, this year we've been doing a whole lot of video chatting. This opportunity is my very first business, and had I not wanted to travel for my 50th birthday, I probably wouldn't have this business today. I never imagined being a business owner.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Oh my goodness, how have I grown...as an introvert that loves helping others (silently, behind the scenes), PlanNet has helped me to step out of my comfort zone, minimize my fear of failure (because it still creeps in from time to time) and eliminate self-doubt. So I had my mind made up that network marketing was not for me. I was not a salesperson. When I was first introduced to this opportunity, I shut down anyone who tried to educate me on the possibilities offered. I told myself that I do not, I will not build a team no matter what. But, God had other plans. Each time I told myself I wasn't going to do it, someone sought ME out. Each time I was asked how I was able to travel so much, I couldn't help but smile and share the opportunity. PlanNet has changed my perspective on network marketing. The testimonies I was hearing, and the evidence of success and legitimacy of PlanNet Marketing, pretty much opened my mind and perspective on network marketing. The more I learned, the more my perspective changed. When I finally understood how life-changing this opportunity was, I felt compelled to tell the world every chance I got. Failure is no longer a fear and certainly not an option.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My family! Knowing that my children’s children, and their children for generations to come, will be financially set for life! Helping others grow and succeed in this business! Witnessing the successes across the entire PlanNet! Having a team of business partners who care so much about me winning more than they do about themselves! Knowing that I'm able to help others enhance their lifestyle, finances and time.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
This is an excellent question. My mom was my role model in making sure I had what it takes to survive and take care of my family. She showed me how to be independent and how to make sure I had a job that would keep food on my table, a roof over my head and clothes on my back (may she continue to rest in peace). Three-Star Directors Preston and Imani Scott have also been role models to me. Their transparency, integrity, honesty, and outright, genuine drive to see and help you win is unmatched! Oftentimes, people are selfish because they want all the success for themselves, but not with the Scotts; they are selfless because they want everyone to win! They both have prayed for me and poured into me just because that's who they are. Because of them, I probably wouldn't be where I am today in PlanNet Marketing. We started as business partners, but now we are family.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Patient, Loyal , and Humble.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Always keep YOUR why in your forefront, adjust it as necessary, but never lose sight of it. Your WHY is the reason to keep pushing for success no matter what! Don't give up on yourself, all you want in life is yours for the taking! Just believe!
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In five years, I will have the years but not the age to be eligible to retire from my government job. In five years, I see myself resigning from my government job, leaving my retirement funds in escrow until I am of age and not be penalized, and being a full-time network marketer with PlanNet Marketing, continuing to help others with this life-changing opportunity.
