1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was raised in Wilmington, NC but currently live in Atlanta, GA. My dad passed when I was very young. My mom raised me and my three sisters on a nursing assistant’s salary. I am the proud mother of one son.
I spent 25 years working in senior leadership roles for various Fortune 500 companies. After 25 years, I began to experience corporate burnout. It was no longer fulfilling, and I wanted to do something different. PlanNet Marketing came at the perfect time for me to try something new.
My hobbies are traveling, reading and listening to music.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
PlanNet Marketing has given me the opportunity to learn a new industry and adjust to being a leader in this industry. I’ve grown in my ability to lead others to a new way of thinking and doing. PlanNet Marketing has made me a better leader.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I am driven by my desire to help others create a better life for themselves and their families. Having come from a single parent household with limited money, I know the work required to elevate yourself to a better place. I want to help others transform their lives, too.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model is Nelson Mandela. He was a man who never gave up on what he believed in. I love his quote – “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Tenacious, Focused and Caring
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Don’t give up on your dreams. Push through the hard times and keep going no matter what. Winners never quit and quitters never win.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I will be traveling the world and having amazing experiences with the people who mean the most to me.
