PlanNet Marketing congratulates new One-Star Director Twinette Brown! Twinette tells us, “My name is Twinette Ravenell Brown, also known as Twin. I’m originally from Summerville, SC, and presently reside in Cordova, TN with my husband and children. I am the mother/bonus mom of five children: three birth children, Jase (13), Alyse (7), and McKenzie (3), and two by marriage, Tierra (22) and Jordan (17).
“A few of my interests include praising God as I know he is the source of my strength, going to the beach and putting my toes in the sand, watching my children engage in the activities of their choice, watching my college football team play on Saturdays (South Carolina Gamecocks – Forever To Thee), helping people, and traveling.
“I’ve traveled to or through 45/50 states. My favorite international trip so far was to Saint Thomas, USVI in April 2009. I spent a week there enjoying the beautiful island and eating amazingly fresh seafood. I was able to attend a church service there in which the church had no air conditioning in the middle of a hot spring season, but we had an incredible time. A quick fun fact about me: on the day of departure, I got my first and only tattoo with my son’s name and birthday, on my foot. No clue as to why I chose the location or the timing! Needless to say, there are no other tattoos because the pain was so real. I love to cruise and have about four international trips planned so far for 2021.
“I recommend to a new person just getting started with the business, or to those who are just in PlanNet but PlanNet is not yet in them, to run. Identify what you truly want in life and what this business can do for you. Once you identify your vision, grab hold of your nine who are direct to you and run with the three who can see. Remember the business is about relationships, and what you build is far greater than any dollar you earn. When you are going through tough times, you want a team who will be there to help lift you up, and you them. Never take your foot off the gas. When you feel like giving up, don’t. When you feel like walking away, don’t. When you feel like you just can’t, pray. Finally, when you feel like this business does not “work,” check to make sure you do.
“My story is different from others who may have come in hitting the ground running. I sat dormant for almost three years, simply focusing on travel for myself and my family, because I didn’t believe I had what it took to work PlanNet Marketing. In April 2020, my coach, Director Bernard Hampton, asked if I was ready to take my business to another level and stop playing. He asked for permission to push, pull, and coach me. Our team grew from a group of approximately 11 to 103 in less than nine months. The true definition of carrying a child in the womb. If you want success quickly, remain coachable, teachable, reachable, and humble. Never take your foot off the gas even when life is happening around you. Let’s go get it!”
