1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
My name is Shaquinta Barlow. I was born and raised in Buckatunna, MS, but I currently reside in Hattiesburg, Ms. I am a single parent of an amazing 18-year-old daughter. I am very family oriented and love spending time with my mom, my daughter, my three siblings, and of course, my friends. I also love building new relationships with my PlanNet family. One of the highlights in this business was becoming the first Director in the great state of Mississippi. I take the task and the privilege of leading hundreds of families very seriously.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have grown and personally developed so much as a person since joining PlanNet. Being able to glean from those who have had massive success in this business has been invaluable. Creating lasting relationships and collaborating with other people who genuinely want to free families and change lives is an awesome experience.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
The thing that drives me is knowing that not only do I have the ability to write my own narrative, I get to help others rewrite theirs. I get super excited when I see people succeeding, growing, developing, and living, and dreaming again as a result of this vehicle.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I definitely consider Mrs. Natalie Nicole Graham a role model because she is the evidence that hard work, patience, resilience, and gratitude along the way pays off. She literally started from the bottom and worked tirelessly to get to the very top. I'm inspired by that level of tenacity.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Driven, focused, and relentless.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
The advice that I would give someone is to figure out what you really want to do and design all of your activity around that thing. Chase your dreams, and be relentless in your pursuit of the life you desire and deserve.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
My life five years from now looks like me traveling the world and helping others lift their lives!
