PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Brent and Ocia Gumbs to the 20/20 Club! Brent and Ocia have been married for 22 years and joined PlanNet Marketing on November 22, 2020. Ocia is originally from Antigua, but moved to the island of St. Thomas USVI in 1996, where she met Brent the following year. Brent was born and raised on the island of St. Thomas. They now live in St. Thomas, USVI (2021 population: 104,250).
Ocia tells us, “Our interests include playing and watching baseball and softball and spending time with our family. We LOVE to travel! Our travels have taken us throughout the United States including Hawaii, different parts of Florida, Italy, Canada, Ireland, Spain, Africa and many more islands and countries. Much of our travel has been done while cruising, which is something we REALLY love to do. One of our greatest adventures is a Mediterranean cruise that we took in 2007.
“We are achieving success because we chose to be coachable and duplicate the activities of our mentors and success coach. After two previous attempts at network marketing, we vowed NEVER to get involved in another network marketing company again. That vow went through the door when we were introduced to PlanNet Marketing by our dynamic sponsor and soon to be Director, Rene Crawford. ‘There is something different about PlanNet,’ we told each other.
“Considering the relatively low investment and the guarantees, it made too much sense not to give it a good, solid effort. Nine months later, thanks to hard work and listening to our success coach, Director Tandisizwe Rhone, we are proud members of the 20/20 Club. We look forward to achieving future goals such as DIT, One-Star Director, Two-Star Director, Three-Star Director, etc., as well as 40/40, 60/60, 80/80, etc. We achieved success ‘quickly’ by working hard and focusing on our goals for the future. Failure is not an option for us.
“Most impactfully, we desire to help guide our team members to achieve every PlanNet Marketing milestone that we are also focused on accomplishing. We are proud of the success that we are achieving in PlanNet Marketing and try our best to lead by example. We do our best to motivate our team while assisting them in growing their businesses. One great tip we would share is: DO NOT prejudge anyone but CONSISTENTLY share this awesome opportunity with everyone. Also, write your goals down and post them where you can visualize them every day.
“Some fun facts about us are that together we have owned a very successful business called Personal Touch Insurance Services, LLC for the past 18 years. We also have two children named Brecia and D’Waine. We are most extremely proud that our family is very active in service at the St. Thomas Assembly of God Church, a 200-plus member congregation. Brent is the Treasurer and also serves on the Board of Deacons, while Ocia is a Praise and Worship leader and manages the Bookstore. Brecia operates the Live Stream and Praise dances while D’Waine drums and operates the camera. We love the Lord and we love helping people.”
