PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Makeiba Winclas to the 20/20 Club! Makeiba tells us, “I was born in Guyana, but I grew up in Antigua, lived there for 16 years before I migrated to New York. Now I reside in Brooklyn, New York. I’m a professional chef with a boutique catering company, and I recently graduated from Berkeley College with my MBA in Business Management focusing on Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
“My interests are centered on food and travel. I’m an avid foodie and luxury traveler so I constantly seek out destinations which will provide me with the best food and luxe travel experiences. However, in my down time, I write books and poetry, but wherever I am, I always look for a great karaoke night.
“I made it my goal to travel to 30 countries by 30. I’m 26 now and I’ve already been to 25 countries so far. Honestly, since I started my travel business, I travel one to three times a month. So far this year, I’ve traveled 16 times both domestically and internationally. My favorite destinations for the year are Guatemala, Costa Rica and Aruba…but I can’t wait to scratch more off my bucket list.
“PlanNet Marketing has created an opportunity for me to build a legacy business for my family and opened the door for me to have multiple streams of income. My biggest attribute to my success is my sponsor and mentor, One-Star Director Bethany Holmes. From the beginning, she has been pushing and encouraging me. She has given me tips and advice on becoming more personable when speaking to a prospect. She has created an impressive support system for her downline. So, I would say, tap into the training sessions with your sponsor and upline directors who constantly drop gems in the Facebook groups and on their Facebook lives. When you consider that they have been where you are now and can help you progress to where you want to be, their trials and errors are stepping stones and learning experiences that pave the way for you to be successful. Using their wealth of wisdom and advice is the key to achieving success. When you personally see how someone’s life has changed and they have accomplished their goals, it is a thousand times better than the feeling you get from your own success. It becomes addictive and all you want to do is help more people do the same.
“A fun fact about me is that I’m an Amazon published author.”
