PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Janice Howard to the 20/20 Club! Janice is originally from Macon, MS and currently resides in Erwin, NC. Janice tells us, “We are a retired military Air Force family. I’m a mother of two: Ranzino, Shyla, and son-in-law, Matthew and my greatest joy – my granddaughter, Annalise. Travel is a joy, and when I’m not traveling you can find me spending time with my family, at the beaches, concerts, bowling, or attending an NFL/NBA game, and now reading. My new book is Developing the Leader Within You.
“I lived abroad in Asia and Europe for 17 years. While on this path, it allowed me to travel through this journey in such a unique, infinite, and astonishing way. This is why I have such a love for international travel and the people who live in other countries.
“I have achieved success because one thing that my Coach Nese Douglas taught me is you must stay connected to the connection or you will be disconnected from this business, and the speed of the leader is the speed of the team. One Team, One Dream, One Mission and One Vision is how we grow within our organization. Grab a hand, lend a hand and watch the synergy within the team prevail.
“Operating in a sense of urgency was a must for me. I invested in an opportunity which afforded me the ability to understand the importance of time and personal freedom. Leaving a legacy was unbelievable and seeing that here in PlanNet we are the evidence, that documentation beats any conversation, any time. Facing my fear was so important to me, which was getting rejected with those No’s. Those no’s built character and now I have become detached from the no's and focus on getting an answer – which is Yes. One time my Coach stated, ‘You will get many no's, but it’s opening doors for the yes's to walk in.’ The road to success is always under construction. While on the journey there will be many bumps and detours; you have control over changing your attitude, mindset, and your energy. It's your business – why not work in a positive environment?
“My advice would be to become organized and definitely understand you must be coachable, trainable, reachable, and allow your leader to develop you. There is no "I" in team, as our coach states, ‘We are in this together and the train makes many stops; it just depends on your destination.’ One of my destinations is Director Ave. This is why you must plan for your harvest.
“A fun fact: I’m learning to play the guitar and it’s been very rewarding.”
