1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. It was there that I met our Founder/CEO, Mr. Donald Bradley. and his lovely wife, Mrs. Bradley, over 24 years ago. I reside on the border of Vinings and Smyrna, a suburb near Atlanta, GA. I’ve lived in Atlanta since November of 1998, but most of my family still lives in Maryland along the east coast, and a few reside in Texas. Some of my past business highlights involve my area of study, broadcasting and journalism, at the University of Maryland, College Park. Having a gospel aerobics TV show in the 1990s was groundbreaking, and blazed a trail for what I see and keep up with today. Also being an afternoon drive announcer who helped take my radio station to the number one gospel station in America grew my ministry and changed my life!
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have grown and personally developed in many ways since joining PlanNet Marketing, as my sponsor/coach, Mrs. Nina Vital, would attest. I now read more than my Bible, religious material, and the occasional magazine, which lays a good foundation for leading my team from the front. I came into this industry quiet, humble, and respectful to the giants in our company, with a posture to listen, learn, and gain knowledge. I knew nothing and originally came in to merely travel smarter for less. I was not used to coming into a company and having them win without me, so I decided I wanted to work the marketing side more intentionally and become a Director. I am learning different leadership styles, as I’m out of my element, let alone comfort zone! This experience has stretched and redefined me in many ways.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My young men are my WHY (my sons). They, along with the people attached to me, are what motivates me. Building more wealth after my divorce and the WHYs of my team members are motivating factors.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
There are many role models I can choose from in this opportunity! From our Founder on down the line. If I had to choose one, it would be Ms. Eileen Ross, Five-Star Director. Although our personal stories are different, I identify with her being divorced and having a son. I have three young men, near in age to her son. But I admire her tenacity and fortitude to compete at the highest level in this industry.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Three words that best describe me are Kind, Considerate, and Loyal.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
If I had to give someone advice in PlanNet, it would be to find a coach or mentor who is where you want to be, and stick close to them.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, my life looks like an even happier me, debt-free, seeing more of the world, earning an income of upper six-seven figures, having over a million dollars in savings/investments. This is money I won’t touch, to be willed to my heirs and their children.
