1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Washington, DC, but currently reside in Hyattsville, MD. I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband, have one son who is 26 years old, and serve in ministry in my church. My interests are traveling with my family, bowling, swimming and camping.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Before I partnered with PlanNet Marketing, I struggled with expressing myself to others because of past pain and hurt in my life. Fast forward, it has now been a little over two years in my business and I contribute my growth and personal development to having outstanding leadership with my leaders, Preston and Imani Scott, amazing coaches and great mentorship from Eric and Denise Clifton, and many supportive business partners. Trainings, weekly meetings and corporate events that I have attended have really helped with my confidence to share this business to anyone I come in contact with, without any hesitation. Most importantly, reading 30 minutes a day of motivational, educational and inspirational books and lots of prayer has helped with my growth and personal development.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Having a strong “Why” drives and motivates me. Before I partnered with PlanNet Marketing, I had to get a part-time job, work a lot of overtime, and work my full-time job in the federal government. My body was going through a lot of stress, both mentally and physically. Now that I am with PlanNet Marketing and working my business on a part-time basis, I no longer have to work a part-time job or work any overtime; I am so grateful to get my life back on track! Now I have more time to focus on my passion for helping people have the same opportunity that I have been blessed with.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model is Les Brown. I am motivated and encouraged by his life story. Les Brown is a renowned professional motivational speaker who has encouraged thousands of people to shake off mediocrity and live up to their greatness, which is a lesson he learned in his own life and one he is helping others apply to their lives. His hunger to realize greatness in himself and others helped him to achieve greatness. He has a passion for helping people and a large vision that is so inspiring to me in my business as a professional network marketer.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Coachable! Committed! Consistent!
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
My advice would be that you must have a strong “why.” Stay plugged in to the system, be coachable, stay consistent, listen to the Inspirational Morning Vitamin calls (IMV), Never miss a meeting that you are qualified to attend, and most importantly, read self-development books for 30 minutes a day and lastly, believe that you will be successful! Stay focused on your goals and do the work to achieve great results.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see early retirement from my federal government job. I see helping hundreds of people to have time freedom, personal freedom, and financial freedom. I see myself as a Four-Star Director. I see being debt-free and I see having an untouched savings account with a minimum of $100,000 so I can have the resources to help families and organizations when needed.
