Meet new One-Star Director Tanya Parker! Tanya was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and currently resides in the Vinings/Smyrna area in Cobb County, just northwest of Atlanta, GA. She tells us, “I’ve been to six of our seven continents and have enjoyed traveling my entire life. I believe in being disciplined and staying fit. In 2015, I completed a Triple Peach, which includes a 10K, 10 Miler, and Half Marathon. Biking is my favorite and I completed New York’s Five Boro Bike Tour, which was about 70 miles with 30,000 bikers pedaling through Manhattan, Harlem, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. I love sporting events and had a lot of fun with sorority sisters at the Oaks and Kentucky Derby. I’m somewhat adventurous on vacation, and enjoy activities that include scuba diving, ziplining, bungee jumping, parasailing, snorkeling, fishing, etc. I enjoyed riding four-wheelers on the black sand beaches of Bali last year and free falling 725 feet off the SkyTower in Auckland, New Zealand a couple of years ago. Sitting by the pool or beach reading is what I long to do more of in the near future with this amazing opportunity!
“My first three months in PlanNet Marketing, I became a Gold Builder, and I was excited and humbled to attend my first convention at the Omni in Atlanta in 2018. I was proud of myself, but was in awe from the testimonials of how fast people became Directors! It was one of the hardest things I’ve done professionally, because I was ignorant and terrified of network marketing, and had many social stigmas to overcome in my warm market. I thank God I’m a self-thinking, strong woman who overcame negativity about the industry and pressed forward to pursue my goals of becoming a Director, despite many harsh opinions and being avoided by arrogant individuals who felt I was ‘too good’ for the industry, let alone them partnering with me.
“I attribute the majority of my success to my amazing sponsor and coach, Nina Vital, my incredible team, and to NEVER missing a Tuesday weekly meeting in Atlanta! Despite traveling with my twins (in separate high schools) and visiting colleges all over the US, I NEVER missed a major Atlanta event, as well as the three and four-year anniversary events in other states. Staying plugged into the corporate calls, attending Eagle Weekend and PlanNet Escapes, as well as the Orlando Convention, inspired me and helped me grow as a leader. I admittedly tried to do everything on my own in the beginning, as you must in many ways reaching 20/20, but I realized I definitely needed duplication to get to DIT and Directorship. Around about this time, I purchased several network marketing and leadership books recommended by Mr. Bradley, and that helped me further understand the industry and value what I have in PlanNet Marketing even more! I began to see more business partners show up at meetings, attend Super Saturday events, as well as Six-Figure School, Black Tie, and other events. I realized the importance of supporting my partners from the front, as well as modeling the leader I admired and wanted to see in myself.
“I am a fiercely loyal person to my friends, and admire open, kind, considerate people with good character. Good energy and people with good vibes, who catch the vision of PlanNet Marketing’s momentum, are the folks I look for. If they’re hungry and coachable, that’s even better!”
