1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
Robert and I were both born and raised in Detroit, MI and currently reside in Concord, NC. Robert has four sisters and I am an only child, but we have a blended family of 13 children and nine grandchildren…number ten due in April! We have been married 10 years as of last November 29. We both love basketball and football. We also love traveling, shopping, cooking, eating, meeting new people, and spending time with our family. We have been in relationship marketing for over 25 years. We are honored to be 20/20 Club members, Gold Builders and the first One-Star Directors in Concord, NC.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
WOW! As individuals we have grown and as a couple we have grown. Now that we have the proper leadership and owners with integrity, we are being coached out of our comfort zone and into our destiny. We have been able to witness what true successful power couples really look like. We are now able to lead others and understand what network marketing is all about - FINALLY!!!
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What is driving us is fear of being homeless, not being able to provide for our children in case of an emergency, and letting other families down that are just like us that need this opportunity. What motivates us is those same things…we have a strong desire to help others and to see a family’s lives change because we had an impact; that is so satisfying…and finally having a stable vehicle that can help others have sustainable financial security.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Robert's role model is his parents because they never allowed him to make excuses and they led by example. They showed him what true commitment in a marriage looks like and there was nothing they would not do for him and his siblings.
My role model is my Granny (my mother's mom) because she taught me to be strong, have posture, make no excuses, and live a life that would be impactful to others. She was a fighter and I have that trait so strong sometimes I can hear her telling me to do just one more task. And lastly, she told me to always be true to who I am and never forget where I came from.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Resilient, Passionate, and Courageous
The three words that describe Robert best are:
Loyalty, Integrity, and Determined
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Never give up or QUIT because that is NOT an option! Push through the adversities as life will always happen. Be coachable, humble, excited, focus on genuinely and consistently helping people, don't focus on the money, and continue to personally develop yourself.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, we see ourselves living the life of servitude. We see ourselves continuing to help others reach the goals that they have envisioned for their families. We see our children and their children not wanting for ANYTHING! We see ourselves going where we want and whenever we want while helping others do the same. Five years from now, we will have everything that was already promised to us.
