PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jane Freund to the 20/20 Club. Jane is originally from Merrimack, New Hampshire. She has lived in Australia and Germany for several years but is now settled in South Portland, Maine with her husband and their sweet dog.
Jane says, “My passion is to travel and help others break out of their comfort zones through travel. I try to never go to the same place twice as the world is so big and I have so much to learn. I have always wanted to work in the travel/tourism industry because I love making others feel welcome, showing them around my community, and helping them make memories. As a travel agent, I'm able to do all of this and as a PlanNet Marketing Rep, I'm even able to help other agents make those dreams come true for people. I'm able to cast such a wide net and it truly feels like a gift that I've been given.
“For someone in their late 20s, I've seen so much of the world. Last time I counted them up, I was at 65 countries visited, not including layovers! :) I don't believe that I'm lucky though - this was accomplished through hard work, perseverance, and the drive to see as much of the world as possible. I made this possible through studying abroad, teaching Kindergarten at an international school, au pairing abroad for a year, and volunteering at an orphanage teaching English. My advice is to book that flight and never look back! If you're scared to try something, you'll feel even more accomplished once you do it.
“This business sells itself, but beyond that people look for leaders they can connect with and learn from. If you show potential Reps the value of working with you, they're going to feel much more secure and supported. Be the travel agent you'd want to have if you were looking to book a trip and be the upline that you'd want to have if you were joining this business. Self-evaluation is key and we're always improving our craft.
“A fun fact about me? Hmm...I love anything with an adrenaline rush. Skydiving, paragliding, swimming with sharks, I've done it all. I try to never live the same day twice and this has created a very fulfilling life for me so far. I can't wait to see where I will be in a year from now with PlanNet Marketing!
