PlanNet Marketing welcomes Iris McKoy to the 20/20 Club! Iris is from Snow Hill, a small town located in Eastern North Carolina. She has lived in the Raleigh-Durham area for 30 years but within the past two years has relocated to Goldsboro, NC. Iris tells us, “I love spending that quiet time with God, my son, and family. I love music and I play the flute in the Ensemble Music Ministry at my church. I love to travel and I love helping others.

“I have traveled to various states throughout the United States and I love to experience different cultures. One of my fondest memories is when I traveled with my son when he was chosen to study abroad for two weeks in Europe. We toured London, Paris, and Rome. It was an amazing experience to explore the different cultures and allowed for us to appreciate life even more.”

Iris shares her path to success: “There are three things that have allowed for me to be successful so far. The first is to follow the process. There is an AWESOME process that is already put in place for us - all we have to do is follow it. This is stressed to us from the very beginning. We have all heard the phrase, “If it’s not broke, don’t try and fix it!” Well, PlanNet Marketing isn’t broken, so why try and fix it. They have the documented evidence that their system works. Secondly is self-development. It is imperative to take a ‘GUT CHECK’ (in my Director Orlando Moore’s voice) inventory of yourself. I know there are things I can improve upon, and the only way I can improve is to be transparent with myself and allow those who are trying to help me get to the next level be transparent with me as well. These things may not always make you or me feel good and they aren’t supposed to! But in order to get to where we want to be in life, being transparent is one of the most important things necessary to becoming successful. Thirdly, always keep your WHY in front of you - the reason that you got started in this business in the first place. This is and should be the reason that makes you cry and the reason that will never make you quit!!

“The things that helped me most are being coachable, teachable, trainable, and staying plugged in to my sponsors and upline Directors. I allowed for them to stretch me even when I felt uncomfortable with being stretched. I realized that since I was new to network marketing, I needed to trust my upline to help me achieve where I wanted to be.

“A fun fact about me: I played the flute in high school. I hadn’t played in over 25 years but when asked to be the leader of our Ensemble Music Ministry at my church about two years ago, I taught myself how to play again in two weeks!”
