MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER KATHRYN HINES!

Kathryn-Hines-2020-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Kathryn Hines to the 20/20 Club! She shares, “My friends call me Kat. Being an only child from Cleveland, Ohio, I've always wanted to be a part of a big family. I found myself putting all that I have into my friendships and many of those people have truly turned into family. There is nothing more refreshing to me than spending time with people you care about and laughing until your stomach is in knots. I also love traveling! Planning trips a year in advance always afforded me the opportunity to go somewhere several times per year!

“This business just made sense to me! Immediately, I could see myself being successful in this amazing opportunity. Although I was brand new to network marketing and deathly afraid of the unknown, I knew that if I followed the instruction of the experts, I would be able to do more than I could ever imagine in this business! Staying plugged in, surrounding myself with people that have the same goals and drive as me, and exposing myself to the culture of the business through meetings, conference calls, and conventions has really helped me stay on track! I never miss an event that I am qualified to attend!

“Stay positive, submerge yourself in the culture of the business, laugh a lot, and most importantly, DON'T QUIT!! If you keep doing the simple things daily, sowing the seeds, it WILL pay off!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

COVID Is NOT a Network Marketing Tool!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is taking the current global pandemic very seriously – they are sending warnings and even filing lawsuits against companies who are attempting to use this crisis as a way to market their business. On April 24, 2020, the FTC sent out 10 warning letters to network marketing companies. The warnings were mainly regarding the promotion of dietary supplements along with COVID-19. The FTC also issued a few warnings regarding income claims associated with COVID-19.

PlanNet Marketing has always operated at the highest levels of integrity – we want to help change people’s lives, but we need to do it in a fair and transparent way. Kevin Thompson, MLM Attorney, stated recently, “There is ZERO gray area here. The field cannot commingle any content with COVID.”

What does this mean for PlanNet Marketing Reps?

PlanNet Marketing is requiring our Reps to immediately cease the use of any COVID, Coronavirus, pandemic, crisis, quarantine, unemployment, or stimulus check talk in reference to their business. No gray area. If you are acting as a PlanNet Marketing Rep in person, over the phone, via messenger, via text, on a FB live or a social media post, on Zoom or in any other capacity – please do not speak about COVID. Please make sure that you and your team are not using any words, images, or even hashtags that would link our business in connection with the current global pandemic. Avoid buzzwords like "COVID-19, Coronavirus, Pandemic, Crisis, Stimulus Check, Unemployment," or similar in connection with your business.

What CAN we say about our business right now?

1) Opportunity. Talk about being a Rep with PlanNet Marketing! Go ahead and tell the world about how you are personally experiencing personal freedom, financial freedom, and time freedom. We love those posts! Tell the world how to "Design your amazing, ideal life through a lucrative home-based business model where YOU are in control!"

2) Product. Talk about the InteleTravel ITA. It's your product, so sell it. Make sure you don't talk about agent pricing or perks though. When you talk about the ITA, you should talk about selling travel, earning commissions (on travel sales), and learning about the travel biz! It's as simple as that. "It's rewarding. It's social. It's fun. It's TRAVEL and you can own it!"

3) Background. Feel free to share information and statistics about PlanNet Marketing and our Founders! We have some great info about our company right on our website and also in our presentation. You can also share info about InteleTravel and their leaders.

4) Income and Disclosure. Feel free to talk about the income potential that PlanNet Marketing offers, but please note that ANY TIME we talk about money, we need to reference the PlanNet Marketing Income Disclosure Statement (IDS). The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is very serious about providing consumers with accurate and complete information about earnings before that consumer makes a purchase. In our industry, it's super important to safeguard our business by always disclosing complete earnings potential as shown on the PlanNet Marketing IDS. All you have to do is include a link to that page with your online post -- https://www.plannetmarketing.com/en-us/Income-Disclosure

CONGRATULATIONS TO DAYNA JEYNES FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!

Dayna-James-1Star-Arnounce-Article.jpg

Meet new One-Star Director Dayna Jeynes! Dayna is 24 years old and originally from South Wales in the UK, but is now living in Nottinghamshire. She says, “My interests have varied so much, but my whole background, from the age of six to 20 was within the arts and culture industry. I studied musical theatre and acting from a very young age, going on to work in the industry for a few years whilst living in London, and then moved out of the big city in 2018 to start a new adventure. Months after leaving that part of my life behind, this business fell into my lap right when I needed it the most.

“I had always travelled so much as a child with my parents, going to a new place at least three times a year – anything from weeks abroad to weekends camping in the UK. I've always loved hiking, exploring, and adventuring and missed that so much whilst living in a big city; then this business changed EVERYTHING for me.

“It opened up new avenues for TIME and FINANCIAL freedom that I never thought possible. I didn't know ANYTHING about this industry when I started. I didn't understand how I could create a business from my phone, but I did it because I knew I DESERVED more and I work every day to make it happen. The team I am a part of has truly changed my life!! They've supported me and my dreams from day one, they taught me everything I needed to know, and I wouldn't be anywhere if it weren’t for them and the people I’ve met along the way.

“BIGGEST TIP – your support network is EVERYTHING. You need people around you who get it – people who understand what you're working for and the highs and lows you'll go through to get it. Trust the process and do something every single day to step into the next level version of yourself, because success and your support network are out there!

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: COPHIA JACKSON

Cophia-Jackson-Spotlight-July3.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
Born in Courtland, Alabama into a military family, I developed my zeal for travel through our voyages across America and through Germany as well. Eventually nesting in Atlanta, GA and finishing college, I began a career as a computer programmer for IBM and a part-time tax preparer before eventually pursuing my entrepreneurial endeavor as a traditional tax business owner of 15 years to date.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Driven by my passion and desire to defy all odds and overcome any obstacles I face; my arsenal was enhanced when I joined PlanNet. Of all the lessons learned by being connected to the PlanNet community, the most fruitful principle is that you NEVER stop learning and in order to be a great leader, you must learn to effectively follow.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Thriving by the motto “You Only Live Once,” I am motivated to provide my children, a 26-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son, with every tool and resource they need to pursue their own dreams while I continue to live my own.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Out of all of the mentors and role models in my life, my sister is the most important one. She has proven to be my biggest critic and my greatest fan. Like myself, her work ethic and tenacity are the secret to her success.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Determined, Compassionate, and Loyal.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
The best advice I have gotten and given is to be INTENTIONAL in everything you do. Intentionally desire to WIN against all odds. Intentionally be an overcomer.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
My five year plan is to become a Five-Star Director and help many PlanNet members cross into Directorship and create generational wealth.

MEET 40/40 CLUB MEMBER SASKIA WALKER HODGSON!

Saskia-Walker-Hodgson-4040-Article.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Saskia Walker Hodgson to the 40/40 Club! Saskia shares, “I am absolutely thrilled to have reached my 40/40 promotion and would love to share a little bit about me. I am a mum of four, married to my amazing wife, and I live in Gorleston, Norfolk, UK and have been with the business for just under two years. I have four children – three still live with me and my oldest is living with her partner.

“I have four crazy pugs who are a massive part of my journey because they keep me company when I am working – they are my furry business partners! I love to travel and my top destination is the Maldives, and my aim is to be able to visit as many times as I want without worrying about the cost!

“I haven’t come from a network marketing background and found this business as a result of being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and I have not looked back since! Along the way, I have grown an incredible team and I am not so far away from Directorship. I have made some amazing friends along the way: my coach and mentor, the amazing Sarah Boulter, has become one of my best friends and has been there for the highs and lows of my journey and has given incredible coaching and mentoring. I would advise anyone who is serious about the business to be coachable – it’s one of the best qualities you can have.

“My other other advice is to push hard no matter what, be consistent and show up for your business every day, even when you don't want to or it’s not a good day! It’s not an easy journey but anyone can do it with the right work ethic!”
