1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born in Hampshire, UK and have remained in Hampshire to this day. I am a husband to the amazing Four-Star Director Louise Gatland and father to three amazing children. Current hobbies are motor racing, which I share with my eldest son ❤, and playing darts when I have the time.😉

Before starting this incredible journey with PlanNet Marketing, I previously owned a business repairing motor vehicles and owned my own repair shop. How times have changed now.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
One thing is for sure, I am a completely different person now than before my journey with PlanNet Marketing. I work on self-development everyday, which Is a very important role in our business – from reading to watching short videos (feed your mind).

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me? I have always loved putting smiles on peoples faces, and with this business, I can continue to do this on a daily basis. Seeing other people WIN drives me to help more people. What motivates me? Self development and helping others be successful motivates me. Having a successful business which gives us time, financial and personal freedom to give our children the life we did not have also drives me.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Bill Gates and Richard Branson inspire me from a business aspect and also hold a wealth of knowledge.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Driven, Team Player, and Approachable.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
BE CONSISTENT, be coachable. Trust the process and stay in your lane. ‘If you can dream it, YOU can achieve it. The only limits are within yourself.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
New house, a holiday home, Five-Star Director – continuing to help as many families as possible. Multiple race cars and sports cars.

“We love the USA and are lucky to have family there and in Sardinia, too. As a family, we love theme parks so we travel around the UK, Europe and the USA exploring as many as we can. My son, Welton, is keen to be an underwater explorer/scientist so we often have to spend time on a new beach so he can snorkel and watch the marine life. I love sailing; I have done since I was three months old. I am a qualified ocean yacht master and enjoy sailing new locations with new crew.

“In the last 30 months, I've realised that you need to surround yourself with those who understand what you're trying to achieve and throw yourself in headfirst. Speak to EVERYONE about how you can help them. This business fits so many lifestyles and is the most flexible opportunity. Grab it with both hands and run with it.

Christy currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and is  originally from Toledo, Ohio.  She tells us, “I am an only child and have one adult son named Nicholas who is a junior at the University of West Georgia. My interests include cooking, gardening, traveling, swimming, reading, and self-care. But most of all, my main interest is to position myself with this opportunity to change my financial trajectory for my mother and son.

“I started traveling very early in my life and have visited over 30 states in the USA and several Caribbean islands for business and pleasure before joining PlanNet Marketing. So, when the opportunity was presented to me, I knew that I was going to join, get started, help other people, and never quit. The next thing I did was book a vacation for my son to Disney World.  We have not stopped going on vacation between the two of us. Now that I'm an empty nester, my travel bucket list is long and strong. I love cruising and spending time on the beaches of the world. But my travel goals have elevated to more exotic international travel to experience fine cuisines and cultural enrichments.

 “PlanNet Marketing’s culture, leadership, resources, and tools has contributed to my success.  Attending the events that I qualify for is very important to me. My only regret is that I have taken my foot off the gas, stopping and starting from working my business consistently. Don’t Do That, Never! But once I got M.A.D. (Made A Decision) and leaned into the proper coaching and development, things shifted in my mind and my activity increased daily. I start my day out by reading together with our team at 6 AM. I finish my individual personal development and exercise before I go to work. I work full-time as a disaster recovery specialist for the federal government, so I am very busy during the day and I only have 2 - 3 hours per day to do IPA. Therefore, working by a paper calendar, setting alarms and reminders on my phone, which I do at night, and having an accountability partner helps me stay on track.  I have Post-Its all around my house to assist me with staying focused on my WHY and my goal.

“Fun Fact – I grew up around fast cars and motorcycles. I started riding a motorcycle when I was fifteen years old when my uncle gifted me my first Suzuki. I never considered myself a biker, but I sure do like to ride and I will own a blacked-out Harley-Davidson Iron 883 in my lifetime!”

I Want to Change Sponsors!

"My sponsor isn't training me or returning my calls. I don’t like the way my upline does business and it’s upsetting others. My sponsor blocked me on social media. We just can’t work together. Can I change sponsors?"

We get this question from time to time, and understandably. We're in a business based on RELATIONSHIP marketing. In all relationships there is conflict. Whether it’s a parent and child, friends, siblings, co-workers, church members, teammates, or business associates – there is going to be conflict. We are all human, after all.

We want you to excel and grow your business with the best success. Sometimes it feels like another Rep is holding you back or causing you trouble. It seems easiest to simply stop working with that Rep. Unfortunately, no matter who your upline and downline are – there WILL be conflict. So, when conflict comes, don't go looking for greener pastures – find ways to improve your own lawn!

Celebrate Your Differences! We all have different talents and skills to bring to the table. Learn to value those differences and find ways to use those differences to grow your business together. Instead of arguing or judging based on differences, recognize that no one will please you all the time and try your best not to allow this to bother you.

Find a Good Fit! If you have someone you don't see eye-to-eye with, help them find someone else in your current line whom they can work with – someone else may be a better fit than you. Don't ignore them or belittle them; don't tell them to cancel or change sponsors – help them! Connect them with YOUR upline, connect them with the group, just get them connected!

 Build Toward Success! Together we will all be successful. It takes every single person to make PlanNet Marketing great – one Rep isn’t better or more valuable than another Rep. Every Director and 20/20 Club Member knows the value of every single Rep on their team – it wasn’t “numbers” that allowed these people to reach Gold Builder and above, it was PEOPLE! People who all want to succeed. When we work together, celebrate our differences, and help our team members find others who work well with them, we will all succeed.
