THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: DAYNA JEYNES

LS_jeynes_dayna.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born in South Wales in the UK and moved to London when I was 18 to study musical theatre. At 22, I moved out of London to Nottinghamshire to pursue a career path within the arts and events industry, which quickly changed into wanting a fully home-based role that would give me total time and location flexibility! I wasn’t sure what that role was. I was working in a job I didn’t like to pay the bills and still had my heart set on the arts, but everything changed for the better when I came across PlanNet Marketing and this opportunity.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I had never done personal development before this business! I have always struggled mentally and with getting out of my own head but I've developed daily habits that include gratitude and affirmations that have helped me personally and allow me to help others who feel the same way I do.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Having full control over my life! Being able to decide when, where and what my day-to-day lifestyle looks like. I know what I want in the future and it’s being able to know I can have that without making sacrifices!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I’ve never really had a role model in life. There’s a lot of people with qualities that I admire and would love to work on having – such as many leaders in our UK community and some incredible people I've worked with over the years in the arts.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
I always find this so tough because I know I'm viewed differently than what I see in myself – so I would say; passionate, organised, and courageous.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Get yourself a daily routine that includes working on a healthy mindset, working on your dreams and doing something each day that makes you feel good and puts a smile on your face!!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I’m definitely owning my first house, I’ve tripled my monthly income and I’m surrounded by people and puppies that I love!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO JARMAL STEVENS FOR ACHIEVING 40/40 CLUB!

4040club_stevens_jarmal.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jarmal Stevens to the 40/40 Club! Jarmal is from Savannah, GA, but currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA. He tells us, “Some of my interests are traveling, personal development, and sports. I have really enjoyed the traveling I have been able to do with this business. Some of my traveling experiences include a Disney cruise, Princess cruise, and trips to Jamaica and Mexico, just to name a few. You should see the look on my face when I see how much money I save when I get to travel; it amazes me sometimes.

One thing I have learned about this business is you have to plant seeds and ‘share your business.’ Some people may not decide to join or book travel right now, but you have to stay CONSISTENT. Become the person you want to attract in your business. People will watch you. One thing I would share with many others is to PLUG IN. Our company provides so many resources for us, but they can't do the business for us.

“One way that I found success was to model what I saw.  My sponsor, Letoria Mayberry, and her team have soooo many resources for us. It amazes me when I think about all that they provide. I have to make sure that they receive all the credit. I don't like to leave names out, but Rasheba McGowan, Nat Gaiter, Cassandra Romine-Davis, Johnice McRae, Gloria Somersall, and many more. – just to see how they have done it allows me and anyone else to know they can do it as well.

“One fact about me: when I do travel, I like to work, so wifi is needed!”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER JESSICA GRATE!

2020club2_grate.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jessica Grate to the 20/20 Club! Jessica is originally from a small town in South Carolina called Pawleys Island and currently lives in Eastover, SC, right outside Columbia. She says, “I absolutely love to travel and gain new experiences while creating memories with my family. I enjoy learning about different cultures and trying different foods from all across the globe. Also, I love music and enjoy different types of performing arts.

“Over the past three years, I have been all over the US and to several different countries. My most memorable travel experience has to be when I took my mother on her very first international vacation. That was one of the best bonding experiences we’ve had so far since I’ve started my business.

“My number one rule for success is to stay diligent. Even when life gets tough, show up anyway. Yes, it’s going to get hard sometimes, but it’s going to be okay. I keep in mind what my mentor always says: “Don’t let the process punk you out of the promise.” It’s okay to fail your way forward. If you want it bad enough nothing will stop you.

“A fun fact about me is that I used to have an extreme fear of flying and to this day I still get nervous on a plane – but that doesn’t stop me!”

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER HOA SYPOLT!

Hoa-Sypolt-2020-Banner.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Hoa Sypolt to the 20/20 Club! Hoa tells us, “I am the epitome of living that American Dream. My father and I fled Vietnam when I was six on a boat. We stayed in a Thailand refugee camp for a few years. We came to Columbia, SC when I was nine and it has become my home.

“My father and I reunited with my mother, brother and sister when I was 15.  My first major travel experiences were when I was 18 flying to St. Petersburg, Russia and to my home country, Vietnam. Since then I have been to at least 16 countries and on 15 cruises. To say I love travel would be an understatement!

“A year ago, I began this journey because I wanted to save and make money from travel, especially knowing that it would also benefit my live event and wedding painting business. Then of course I discovered PlanNet and realized that this is my ticket to true financial and time freedom.

“My family and I are natural entrepreneurs. Strong work ethics have been in my blood. When I realized that the success of this business can be leveraged and residual income can be achieved from empowering others to do the same, I was sold. My mission became bigger than me.

“I opened my mind up and soaked everything in that I saw and heard from all our leaders. I created a no excuse zone and knew that if I was consistent in everything that I did over a long period of time, surely positive results would follow.

“The key to my success is being plugged in, reading many success books, and simply engaging in income-producing activities. Never quit no matter how you feel. The road to success is a process that will not happen overnight.  Once I developed an unwavering belief in this life-changing opportunity, I was then able to share it with as many people as I possibly knew. NO just means not yet. With that in mind, I will always make the effort to educate them until they believe that they too deserve a life that they desire.

“To live an extraordinary life, you have to do extraordinary things with extraordinary people. It is within each of us and If I can help each person to realize their fullest potential, together we can achieve anything! This business is about helping people over profits. I love the fact that money and travel are simply rewards of empowering ordinary people to live extraordinary lives.

“One “fun fact” about me is that I was on an elderly bowling league when I was 34 for three years.”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

“Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the Way! Oh, what fun it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh.”

Hey PlanNet Marketing! It’s the thick of the holiday season and you may be jingling and jangling along, but be careful! Just like in the fun Christmas carol Jingle Bells, you could be “upsot” (upset, overturned or tipped) in just a few verses if you aren’t following the Policies and Procedures (P&Ps) you agreed to upon joining PlanNet Marketing.

Hopefully by now, you know about the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures, but maybe you don’t – and you SHOULD! When you enrolled with PlanNet Marketing and created your online Rep account, you checked a box that said “I Agree” promising you’ll follow our guidelines, you’ll pay your monthly fee, and you agree to the Terms and Conditions of the marketing website sale. You also stated that you agree to follow our PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures – those are our rules.

It’s your responsibility to know and follow those rules! Don’t let a little slip-up overturn your business. Take a few moments now and look in your Virtual Office in the Information Center, under Resources, and find the document entitled Policies and Procedures. It’s a little long, maybe even kinda boring – but you owe it to yourself and your business to know this stuff, people!

Make it a very Happy New Year by knowing and following the rules – and tune in to our PlanNetNow! Blog each week to read my Compliance Tips. Each week I highlight one section of our P&Ps and explain it (I know, I know – I’m awesome.)

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Good Holidays and a VERY Joyous New Year to each and every one of you!

Policies and Procedures Section 1.1.F, 1.2 & 1.3, located in your Virtual Office in the Information Center (go to Resources, then Policies and Procedures).

THE LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON: MARYELLEN POELLNITZ

LS_maryellen_poellnitz.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, PA, where I came from a large, hard-working family who lived in an inner city community called Homewood. I currently reside in the Stone Mountain area of Georgia with my devoted husband of 31 years, Ron, since all our children are now adults, leaving us to be empty nesters.

What I love to spend my time doing most is reading up on the Holy Scriptures to gain further insight on the direction and position my life takes as I die to self ~ daily. Shopping and traveling is what I make time for in my life and I always find ways to make those moments not only count, but last.

Ever since I was a young girl, I always wanted to sit in the audience as a judge at the Miss America Pageant. Although I haven’t been a judge (yet), I created, founded and directed a pageant of my very own: the Miss Pre-Teen Beauty Pageant. I ran this pageant for twelve consecutive years, working alongside the Champions Association, Inc., a non-profit organization. We helped pre-teens showcase their natural beauty and talent by molding, teaching, training, and equipping girls ages 9-12 on the importance of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-awareness and what they can contribute to society. I truly believe every female should feel like a princess or a queen for at least one day in their life.

Some of my most recent accomplishments have been sitting as a student in the Minister in Training classroom, where I am pursuing my ministerial license that will equip me to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Back in 2016, I served as a Georgia Delegate at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA. I then became an InteleTravel Ambassador, a PlanNet Marketing 2019 recipient of the Donald Bradley/March Madness baseball award, a PlanNet Marketing 40/40 Club Member, a PlanNet Marketing 2019 Recipient of the first Gold Builder Plus pin award, and a PlanNet Marketing recipient of the first 2020 Vision Gold Pin. I am most proud of establishing market share in my hometown city of Pittsburgh by building my PlanNet Marketing team of over 100 agents from February 2018 to present day…and counting!

Lastly, I was able to fire my boss and retire from UPS Corporate Headquarters and left my management position of almost 20 years, seven years earlier than planned, all because I partnered with the Best Place on the PlanNet.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have grown from wanting success for myself to now wanting to see success happen for others. This business has taught and shown me “People Over Profit”, “Relationships are the New Currency”, and to “Clap, Like it was You.” I now use this development to inspire and motivate myself to lead my team in such a way that selfishness is not welcomed.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Movement drives me! When I see movement happening in the number of leaders who duplicate my moves. When I see movement in the commas in my team’s bank accounts and when I see movement in people’s actions, motives, and hearts. When those elements move towards a more positive, uplifting, and upward direction, I know that I am moving in the right direction to keep on driving.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Bernice King is a role model in my eyes. Bernice King ( the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr.) demonstrates poise, strength, and intellect to the watching world and obedience, knowledge, and respect to the Word of God. Anyone who can firmly stand on truth for both the World and the Word, deserves the title of role model to me. #wink

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Leader, Influential, and Fun!

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Do it now! Time waits on no one. #urgencywithpatience

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
As a top income earner, ring and watch wearer, traveling the world by living a lifestyle of my favorite three freedoms: personal, time, and financial, and helping others to do the same!

MEET 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CHARLENE HUNTER!

Charlene_Hunter_20-20.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Charlene Hunter to the 20/20 Club! Charlene lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland with her partner, Simon, and seven-month-old daughter, Harley. Charlene tells us, “I'm a foodie, so I enjoy visiting new restaurants and trying different types of foods and will usually try any food at least once. The only thing I just couldn't bring myself to try was cow lung. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to be able to do so from a young age, as my family loves it too. My first trip abroad was to Florida, so it's become my happy place and I try to go at least every other year. I love travelling to new cities for weekend breaks and experiencing different foods, architecture and cultures. My favourite cities so far have been Rome, Prague and Krakow.

“Due to my love of travel, this business was a no-brainer for me and it never seems like work. Funnily enough, I said no initially, as it all sounded too good to be true. I am so passionate about this business and I think that shows when talking to others about it, and that's helped with my success. My top tips are to stay consistent and to always be coachable. Even working on your business for an hour each day helps achieve results. I'll hold my hands up and say I haven't always been consistent, but after being to convention in Orlando last year, my eyes were opened listening to success stories from those on stage and I truly realised what this business could do for me. I was actually six weeks pregnant at convention so a lot of what I heard started to resonate with me as my 'why' had changed.

“From the time Harley was born, my drive and determination to succeed in this business has become so much more powerful, as I want to provide the best life I can for her and I know PlanNet Marketing will enable me to do that. I am so unbelievably grateful for how this company has changed my life so far and how it will continue to do so in the future by providing me with the time and financial freedom I desire.

“I am also grateful for the amazing team of people I work alongside every day and for my mentors who push me that bit harder to work towards my goals. Without all of them, this wouldn't be possible.”
