PLANNET LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT ON: TAKESHA MAHONE

Takesha-Mahone-Spotlight.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
Hello, I was born and raised in Bessemer, Alabama. Roll Tide!! My hobby, passion, and full time business is the nail industry. I am proud to be the only licensed all-American-owned nail salon in the city. I’ve been busy and booked for eight years; I work next door to my husband of 13 years. He owns Taylor Kutz. Not only are we self employed in beauty, but travel as well. We've always loved to travel, but now getting paid to book is even more rewarding.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Personally I have grown tremendously. I was so shy at first. However, now I have a team of strangers that are now family. We talk all the time and we love helping each other grow .

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My drive comes from achieving my goals. My husband motivates me more than anyone to always jot down goals and create a plan to execute. I once heard, “Either your mind will expand to match your goals, or your goals will shrink to match your mind."

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Everyone in the company has become a role model for me. I see the hard work, dedication, and heartfelt videos. We all push each other. There is no such thing as giving up

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Passionate, Humble, Grateful.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
This best advice is always do your best. Amateurs focus on the front end, so stay consistent! No matter where you are right now ask yourself: “What if I gave It everything I have?” Also don’t be afraid to reach out for help.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now my goal is to be Five-Star Director! I plan to gain one star every year!

MEET NEW 40/40 CLUB MEMBER DEXTER GRIER!

4040_grier.jpg

PlanNet Marketing congratulates Dexter Grier on achieving the 40/40 Club!  Dexter tells us that he is the proud father of two amazing, well adjusted children, and has one grandson. He continues, “I am an avid reader of personal development materials. I also have a huge affection for great music, especially live music. I love animals as well, but my biggest passion in life is helping others succeed. I've had the privilege to mentor young people over the years, and it’s so rewarding to see them blossom into productive, well adjusted members of society.

I am so proud to be with PlanNet Marketing. This company led by Mr. Bradley is the epitome of what any ambitious business owner looks for in a company - to plant roots and leave deep footprints for others to follow. To be a member of the 40/40 Club is a very proud moment for me and I'm thankful to all who have entrusted me with your dreams. I live by the philosophy of positive energy only!

MEET NEW 40/40 CLUB MEMBER TYWANNA JONES!

4040club_jones.jpg

PlanNet Marketing congratulates Tywanna Jones on becoming a member of the 40/40 Club! Tywanna says, “I am so humbled by this achievement!  I was born and raised in Forkland, AL, currently residing in Tuscaloosa, AL. I am from the deep south, born and raised on a farm.  I am a blogger who enjoys helping people and spending time with family. I have never really been able to travel until I discovered this amazing opportunity with PlanNet Marketing - it has helped me to imagine life differently. Not only is it allowing me to bring in an extra income for my family, it’s also allowing me to change the lives of others!

“I am only a few months into the business and I have experienced and learned more about travel than I could have ever imagined. One tip that I would give to other PlanNet Marketing business partners would be to TRAVEL. Be a product of your product. People love to see photos and videos of your vacations. It sparks a fire in them to want to do the same. That’s how I get a lot of interaction from potential business partners.

“I think I am achieving success with PlanNet by sharing my experiences with others. Those that know and follow me know my story. They know that I’ve always aspired to travel but was unable to do so. This opportunity changed all of that…sharing those experiences with others who are seeing me travel and seeing the world lets them know they can do the same thing.

“Fun fact: I am an introvert, extremely shy. This opportunity has brought me out of my shell and I look forward to making many amazing friendships. This is LITERALLY the best place on the PlanNet!”

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER SHARON MENDON!

2020club2_mendon.jpg

PlanNet Marketing welcomes Sharon Mendon to the 20/20 Club! Sharon tells us she is the youngest of four and was born and raised in Nashville,TN, and currently resides in Snellville, GA. She enjoys reading, writing, travel, sports, and the art of making money. Sharon has been a licensed realtor for a number of years, and currently serves as a full-time caregiver to her mother.

Sharon shares, “PlanNet Marketing has allowed me to savor the time with my mother while still feeding my family, my entrepreneurial spirit, and my desire to help others...all from the comforts of my home. I’ve not been able to go/grow as far or as fast as I would have liked to but I am so grateful for the ability to leverage the time and talents of others, the expansion, the coaching, the personal development and mentoring I’m experiencing, along with the friendships I’ve cultivated along the way. It is indeed an honor and a privilege to be acknowledged for being a part of the PlanNet Marketing 20/20 Club.

“Most of my life I’ve been in some form of sales or business where I’ve been extremely successful. Travel is really my first introduction to the network marketing Industry, and I’m utilizing the PlanNet platform to help others experience success for themselves. In my past it literally took thousands of dollars a month to maintain my commercial lighting company, but at PlanNet Marketing I can generate weekly income, monthly residual income, and bonuses while helping others that want to achieve the exact same thing with nominal overhead.

“Some of my most memorable moments in the business: Driving down the highway on a 3-way call, and I look over to my mom and she’s giving me the two thumbs up sign. After the call, she handed me a credit card, and when I asked her what it was for, she said she wanted to own her own travel agency too. This happens quite regularly, as she may not always remember, but the point is that she, along with everyone I’m able to speak with, is connected to the message.

“Other memorable moments are sitting in the auditorium at Convention in both Atlanta and Las Vegas and just bawling as I took in the energy of it all. Hearing the leaders from the stage pour into us their trials and tribulations that helped to propel them to their prominent levels of success. Seeing grown men and women weep as they shared their testimonies with the audience in order for us to see that it’s worth it, and that no matter what we may be going through, if we just don’t quit and have a little bit of faith we will surely get through it.

“I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on my favorite teams (Falcons, Warriors, and Lakers) and sharing good food and libations. My mom keeps me on my toes but I treasure spending quality time with her, whether it’s dancing, working out, or getting pampered at the nail salon. My spiritual walk is extremely important to me and I am most at peace during my worship time.

“I’ve traveled to Hawaii, Aruba, Germany, and to most of the United States. But I’ve not done a lot of international travel so I feel as though I have some exploring to do. I am, however, loving the benefits of being a merchant. I’m looking forward to a land and sea family reunion this July, where we will start with a four-day cruise to the Bahamas and then spend the weekend in Cape Canaveral, FL. Traveling as a tour conductor on a trip I was going to take anyway is quite exciting. I am also working on a group booking to support a destination wedding in Cape Town, South Africa, with a few days in Paris for a portion of the party this October.

“I was an athlete in school, so team sports were my thing. I work hard at running whatever play my leadership calls. Also, I am most successful when I simply stay connected, work the plan, don’t take anything personally, and never give up. There really is strength in numbers. I get my guests to the front of the room and allow the dynamic leadership to close them out. They came to the meeting as a courtesy to me, but after the presentation is over, it’s time for me to introduce, edify, and be quiet. Same with the three-way calls. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this opportunity works if you work it. When I owned a traditional business, I gave others an opportunity to work for me in the form of a job or a contract. Today, I offer to those willing to heed the call, an opportunity to work for themselves in the largest industry in the world with minimal start-up and overhead.

“Being in the real estate industry, I’ve seen a number of situations where people could have saved their homes for a few extra hundred dollars a month. Every first Tuesday of the month I am on the courthouse steps purchasing foreclosures for pennies on the dollar. It is my charge to be that beacon of light that gives hope to the weary and peace to the troubled and to everyone who will listen when I say, ‘I have an opportunity that can change your life.’

I am so grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Bradley and the executive staff for what they’ve created and what PlanNet allows each of us the ability to create. There is strength in numbers and no ‘I’ in team, and that is why it is imperative that I point out to all who will listen and to those who read that I am so grateful for the coaching and mentoring of ‘ALL’ of the PlanNet leaders. But especially the work that my direct sponsor, Mr. Alfred Ingram, his direct sponsors, Walter and Tiffany Powell, and their direct sponsor and the number one income earner, Mr. Shedrick White, have put in to ensure that we are all successful. I am also extremely grateful to each and every person in my downline who has joined in this journey with me. We truly believe that teamwork makes the dream work.”

Steps and Stages to SUCCE$$:

If you stick and stay, you’ll get your pay,
$upplemental income is indeed one way.
But self-directed steps to the stage
Is how the serious builders get paid.

So I say to you as it was said to me,
Look for 9 that’s mine and 3 that can $ee,
40/40 is done and so is DIT,
Now I’m pressing to get a jacket that’s tailored for me!

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER DAVID FELGAR!

2020club2_felgar.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome David Felgar to the 20/20 Club! David is originally from Findlay, OH and has lived most of his life in a small town called McComb, OH.

David tells us, “I have MANY interests but a lot revolve around the fact that I love the thrill of competition. Whether it be softball, golf, basketball, or even backyard BBQ lawn games like cornhole, I'm in it to win it! Thankfully that same passion and drive has transitioned into my business as well. I have four children, three girls and one boy, whom I absolutely LOVE to watch learn new things and grow as individuals. I have always had an interest in traveling anywhere the good Lord saw fit for me to go, but previously never knew exactly how I was going to make that happen on a regular basis.

“My experiences with travel have been limited in the past to visiting Myrtle Beach every so often, trips to Florida to visit family in and around Orlando, and a few trips to my favorite music venue down in Nashville, TN. Just since joining PlanNet, I've been able to go to places that most would not bat an eye at, but I'm truly grateful it has provided me the opportunity. Las Vegas, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Fort Lauderdale have truly left a lasting impression on my heart and will never be forgotten.

“The success I've achieved comes down to staying consistent with my business day in and day out. Since I work a more than full time job as well as having four children to raise, I know I need to be deliberate with my time and stay focused on doing income-producing activities. It all comes down to making corrections and adjustments. The leadership in this company has helped shape me not only as a strong businessman, but as a better man all around. Personal development is critical to your success.

“A fun fact I enjoy sharing with others is that I was a part of a national performing group that sang and danced in the 2003 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Not only did we get to be the opening act for the day, we had the subway shut down for us, and were taken back to the start of the parade route to bring up the tail end behind THE Santa Claus!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

You own your own business – you are an Independent Marketing Representative for PlanNet Marketing. This means you make your own hours, do your own marketing and pay your own taxes. There’s no “time clock” or “hourly wages” or “employee handbook.” The time freedom, financial freedom, and personal freedom this arrangement affords is what draws so many of our Reps to start a business with PlanNet Marketing. But just because you’re in the business of you, doesn’t mean you’re all alone.

No business is an island!

Even when you own your own business, you are in partnership with others – other businesses and other people. Your behavior, your work ethic, your motivation or lack thereof, affects those others. To protect our Reps (you and your team as well as other Reps and their teams) and to protect PlanNet Marketing and InteleTravel – there are some rules we’ve put into place. These rules are the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures.

Some of you have never been a business owner before. You may not think you should be required to follow the rules of other companies – PlanNet or InteleTravel. You may not be concerned with what others think of your social media posts or your website or your marketing materials. You may not even respond to requests for your attention to business matters. These are things that all business owners will learn eventually, but to help you out, I’m telling you today – those things are IMPORTANT to running a successful and prosperous business.

As a business owner with PlanNet Marketing, it is your responsibility to follow PlanNet’s rules and United States federal laws as well as any local laws for your country, region or city. Our rules begin by encouraging our Reps to always behave in a professional manner, putting forth their best effort to be positive, peaceful, and encouraging to those who they meet while doing PlanNet business. This means if you’re speaking to someone about PlanNet or its owners or employees or other Reps – you say kind, positive and professional things. Don’t cuss, don’t gossip, don’t air your negative feelings about a bad experience on social media.

Are you ALLOWED to do and say anything you please? Of course! You ARE the owner of your business. However, if you choose to conduct your business in an unprofessional way, not following rules, not behaving in an ethical manner, or choosing not to respond to requests for your attention to your business – there are consequences.  I won’t outline them all here today, but I would encourage you to view the “Disciplinary Sanctions” section of the Policies and Procedures. There you will find an extensive list of the consequences for not properly and professionally managing your business. As always, if you have questions about following the policies and procedures of PlanNet Marketing, you can email me directly at compliance@plannetmarketing.com

Owning a business can be a huge blessing, it can afford freedoms in your work life and personal life that you might not otherwise experience. But there are always rules, guidelines and best practices that will allow you to prosper as a business owner. Lean on those around you, encouraging them and showing them respect. In doing so, you’ll find your business the center of a bursting metropolis, not a lonely island.
