PlanNet Marketing congratulates Deacquelyn Christian for achieving One-Star Director! Deacquelyn resides in Brundage, Alabama, where she was born and raised. She says, the most important parts of my life are God and my family. I have been married for eight years to my handsome husband, David. I have two handsome boys, Kameron (14) and Kourtni (12).
“My interests are traveling and spending time making memories with my family. I have a passion for helping people so I am glad I made the decision to help as many families as I can. I absolutely love Jamaica; it’s such a beautiful place. I plan to visit there each and every year.
“I am achieving success at PlanNet Marketing by staying plugged in, staying connected to some of the top leaders, helping my team win and making sure I’m watching the people who are winning. Tips to offer: stay encouraged, be consistent, and run with the runners. Don’t take things that happen personally.
“A fun fact about me is I cannot swim but I always want to be somewhere around water!”
Congratulations to Tykeyia Shelton for achieving One-Star Director and 40/40 Club! Tykeyia was born and raised in Selma, Alabama, and says, “In Selma, there was little to see or even do; but the lack of things to do gave me the desire to explore every aspect of the world, while helping others afford the same luxuries.”
Those desires were the driving force of prompting me to become a travel business owner. The smiles, the joy, the relaxation, and the ultimate feeling I experience when helping others get out of their normal habitat to experience a different way of life is what makes it all worthwhile for me. This achievement is huge for me. This is only the beginning! I can’t wait to bring others to the top with me.”
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born in Harlem, New York into a single parent home. I was raised in Summerville, South Carolina by my mother and stepfather, who is the man who raised me, and there’s no “step” about it. I’m the second oldest out of eight children (multiple families). I presently reside in Cordova, Tennessee with my husband and three birth children. I was blessed with two bonus children coming into the marriage.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in four states, presently pursuing my LCSW. I have worked in healthcare and social services for the past 20 years. I have managed Fortune 500 companies and managed non-profit programs.
My hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, and dancing.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
PlanNet Marketing has helped me grow as a leader both inside and outside of the business. I use the skills from the colors training when talking to coworkers and other managers at my job. I’m taking the time to read more self-development and coaching books to apply to my personal and professional relationships.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I’m driven by the desire to keep my children focused and ready for the future. I don’t want them to have to rely on anyone, but be available for everyone wanting to win with them. I’m motivated by their smiles and not having to worry about whether I can provide for their needs.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My grandparents, Frankie Leroy Ravenell, Lila Ravenell, and Mary Flagler are my role models. They never gave up and showed me how dedication and working to get what you want in life makes you stronger and resilient when the storms come.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Resilient, determined, and passionate.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Storms of life will come; ride through it like an eagle because your reward is on the other side of adversity.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Time freedom to go to my son’s college football games without having to ask for permission to take off. Personal freedom to get up when I want to build my team and travel the world. Financial freedom to help everyone attached to my team.
PlanNet Marketing welcomes Kieron Ellis to the 20/20 Club! Kieron is from Sheffield, United Kingdom. He tells us, “I love to travel (obviously), explore new places, and experience different cultures. I have a huge passion for fashion. I love nothing better than a day trip/weekend getaway to a city where I can shop, eat and drink to my heart's content.
“I have ticked off 17 countries so far, and there are lots more to explore. So far I must say my favourite places I have visited are New York (I just love the vibe the city has), followed by Thailand (mainly down to the food), but the country is so breathtakingly beautiful. I am so excited for 2021 as I plan to visit Vegas, Singapore and Bali, followed by Texas in August for the team convention, which is going to be insane.
“I am keeping the opportunity simple and exposing this to as many people as I can on a daily basis. I love to travel, so this opportunity comes natural to me, making it super easy to talk about. I am also being consistent on a daily basis because without consistency, you will not see the results. One top tip I always say to my team is ‘always keep your shop window open.’ The reason I say this is because people will watch your journey and in time when they are ready, they will reach out and ask you what it is that you do.
“A fun fact about me is that I applied for Big Brother twice (back in the day) and actually got through to one of the final stages – my claim to fame!”
PlanNet Marketing welcomes Caroline Hamilton to the 20/20 Club! Caroline is originally from Wales, but has lived in London for nearly 20 years. She says, “I have been married to my husband, Oliver, for 12 years and I am Mummy to three amazing boys, ages 10, 8 and 5 years old.
“My husband and I have always loved to travel, and we didn’t want that to change once we had children. We love to visit new places and we want to show our boys the world; this business is making that possible. Our favourite places to visit are Disney World in Florida, Dubai, and we love to explore Europe. Next on our bucket list is the Maldives and the Bahamas.
“I already had a love for travel, so when I heard about this opportunity I was so excited to be able to turn my passion into an income. I now absolutely love sharing the opportunity with others. I love meeting new people, building relationships and showing them how they can build a successful travel business. I absolutely love the flexibility and time freedom this business gives me. My boys are the reason I want to succeed, but at the same time, I want to be there for them for all their milestones, school drop-offs and pick-ups. I am able to always put them first whilst doing a job I adore. As a mum, you couldn’t ask for better than that.
“My tips for anyone starting out would be to stay consistent and learn from those who are already succeeding.I feel so lucky to be part of the most incredible team and for the support they give me. Everyone is always cheering each other on, which is so unique about this business. I am forever motivated by my mentor, Rachael Lalji, and her incredible work ethic. She inspires me every day to push myself closer to my goals.”
Compliance is KEY!
I know compliance isn’t “flashy” or “fun” but it’s necessary. In fact, it’s downright important!
If you’re reading this now, you know the importance of following the rules of the company. You understand that by getting all our Reps on the same page, we’re avoiding liability that could cost us everything. We don’t want to jeopardize the Best Place on the PlanNet!
Today’s tip is a challenge – to you. Reps, readers, fans of compliance…I challenge you all to invite others to read this blog and especially my weekly compliance tips. Talk to your team about the importance of our policies – knowing them, following them, and helping others do the same.
PlanNet Marketing is all about a duplicatable system that works for every person. Let’s make compliance a part of that! If our Reps don’t know there’s a blog out here giving them answers and tips and advice and motivation, how will they learn?!
1) Please share this amazing tool with your team – send them to www.PlanNetNow.com or have them sign up to receive the weekly email through the PlanNet website.
2) Read the PlanNet Now blog so you’re up to date on what’s happening with the company. If you’re not reading it, how can you expect your team to read it? Stay in the know about company announcements, events, promotions, and compliance tips. You’ve got to stay plugged in!
3) Create a Discussion. After you’ve read it, send a text or a Facebook post to your team/online followers to let them know what you think. Create the platform for a discussion so the word gets out about upcoming events or important compliance matters. Get some dialogue going about our favorite topic – PlanNet Marketing!
Let’s spread the good word together and make our time together last forever.
-- The PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures are located in your Virtual Office in the Information Center (go to Resources, then Policies and Procedures).
