1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was raised in Tacoma, WA and currently live in Warner Robins, GA with my amazing husband, Eric Richardson. Eric is not only my business partner but my partner in life and we will be celebrating our 20 year anniversary this year! I am also a proud Mother and GlamMa! I have been in the insurance industry for over 23 years and an entrepreneur for five years now. I am a 20/20 Club member and a One-Star Director.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have grown so much emotionally and mentally since I truly plugged into the culture and now realize how amazing PlanNet Marketing truly is, especially the leadership. I just wish I had plugged in sooner. My mindset is nothing like it was when I first joined this opportunity. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I could do anything like this. I've always loved helping people and PlanNet Marketing has given us a vehicle to help so many more. I have learned the power of relationships. I cherish the ones I have and the new ones I have formed.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My motivation has always been my family and will always be my family; however, my MAIN motivation, my “WHY," is my mother. My father passed when I was six years old. He was in the Army and that is where my parents met in Korea. My mother came to the United States without knowing how to read, write, and could barely speak English. She relied solely on my father for everything. When he passed away, it was just the two of us. I was the only child and we solely relied on each other. As a child, I remember my mom making so many sacrifices just so that I could be comfortable and not go without. My mom is Korean and in the Asian culture, it is the responsibility of the adult children to take care of the elderly. My mother is 86 years young and has dementia/Alzheimer's. Her condition got so bad we were not able to watch her and care for her around the clock like she needed. The day I had to put my mom into a facility was the hardest thing I've ever had to do because in the eyes of the Korean culture, I am failing the one person who sacrificed everything for me. My motivation is to bring my mom home with us.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model is definitely my mother. My mother, a widow, had hope, a huge desire, and lots of love for her daughter, whom she protected with everything she had in her. She worked tirelessly to provide an amazing life for us. My mother worked several jobs and learned how to start her own businesses; in fact, she was the first entrepreneur I've ever known. I just didn't realize it back then. My mother embodies the term "A Mother's Love."
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Faith, Loyal, and Fun.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Always keep your "WHY" in front of you and remember the reason why you started this business. The reason you started is the EXACT reason why you MUST finish. Whatever you do, DO NOT QUIT.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, my husband and I will be full-time entrepreneurs making multiple six figures. We will have multiple Directors within our organization who will also be making multiple six figures. Most importantly, my mom will be home with us and I'm looking forward to sharing her favorite Korean pastry and having coffee with her on our deck while listening to her tell me stories from the past, all while she rubs my left hand.

“I have always loved travel, from studying travel and tourism at college, to being cabin crew for British Airways! Being crew really made me realise how much of the world there is to see, and I enjoyed every moment of it! “Consistency and knowing my ‘why’ are the reasons I have achieved success as a 20/20 Club member and Director in Training. I have always valued freedom, which is something a full-time job could not provide me. Asking permission to take time off or only being allowed a specified amount of sick days per year was just not the life for me. Thinking about these restrictions in a full-time job is what keeps me consistent, as I never want to go back to set hours and work for someone else again. Always write down your why: the reason you started and what keeps you going. Write it over and over again. Remember what you came here for and do not stop working until you get there!
The most important factor of my success though, is my team. When you experience a positive change in your life facilitated by PlanNet Marketing, you realise how much this business can help other people and can change so many people’s lives. I Want to Change Sponsors!
"My sponsor isn't training me or returning my calls. I don’t like the way my upline/downline does business and it’s upsetting others. My sponsor blocked me on Facebook. We just can’t work together. Can I change sponsors?"
We get this question from time to time, and understandably. We're in a business based on RELATIONSHIP marketing. In all relationships there is conflict. Whether it’s a parent and child, friends, siblings, co-workers, church members, teammates, or business associates – there is going to be conflict. We are all human, after all.
We want you to excel and grow your business with the best success. Sometimes it feels like another Rep is holding you back or causing you trouble. It seems easiest to simply stop working with that Rep. Unfortunately, no matter who your upline and downline are – there WILL be conflict. So, when conflict comes, don't go looking for greener pastures – find ways to improve your own lawn!
Celebrate Your Differences! We all have different talents and skills to bring to the table. Learn to value those differences and find ways to use those differences to grow your business together. Instead of arguing or judging based on differences, recognize that no one will please you all the time and try your best not to allow this to bother you.
Find a Good Fit! If you have someone you don't see eye-to-eye with, help them find someone else in your current line whom they can work with – someone else may be a better fit than you. Don't ignore them or belittle them; don't tell them to cancel or change sponsors – help them!
Build Toward Success! Together we will all be successful. It takes every single person to make PlanNet Marketing great – one Rep isn’t better or more valuable than another Rep. Every Director and 20/20 Club Member knows the value of every single Rep on their team – it wasn’t “numbers” that allowed these people to reach Gold Builder and above, it was PEOPLE! People who all want to succeed. When we work together, celebrate our differences, and help our team members find others who work well with them, we will all succeed.
5.1.2 Change Of Sponsor – To protect the integrity of all marketing organizations and safeguard the hard work of all IRs, PlanNet Marketing rarely allows changes in sponsorship, with the rare exception of direct line changes (meaning placement is not affected).
5.1.3 Change Of Placement – A request for change of placement must be submitted within seven (7) days of the date of enrollment and must be requested by the current listed sponsor. An IR can only be moved inside of the same sponsor’s organization.
