It is an event where we have advanced training about our business. Then, by night, we board a yacht and we network amongst each other over dinner, dancing, and drinks. PlanNet Marketing congratulates Sam Kenny for achieving One-Star Director! Sam was born in Hexham, UK, and now resides in Solihull, UK. She tells us, “I’m a 28-year-old mum to my two-year-old. I started this while on maternity leave when my daughter was four months old, and I am coming up to my two year anniversary with PlanNet. As a Mom to a young toddler, my days are mostly spent running after my little whirlwind. However, we love our dog walks, spending time with close family members, renovating our new home and of course, travelling and making more memories together.
“I’ve travelled to some beautiful places in my 28 years, my favourite places being the Balearic Islands, Florida, Dubai, and Australia (where I briefly lived in Sydney). Since starting my travel business while on maternity leave, I was able to see how much more we would be able to travel and explore the world with my daughter. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, travelling abroad was not an option; however, that didn’t stop us having staycations down on the beautiful Cornish Coast. We’ve literally just got back from our most recent staycay this week! None of this would be possible for us without the business. I am truly grateful for the endless opportunities and memories we’ve been able to make.
“A tip I would pass on is to TAP INTO THE COMMUNITY! I can’t even begin to stress the importance of this for my journey, whether that’s PlanNet Locker Room Calls or your personal Team Celebration/Trainings, just stay connected and tap into that. Be coachable and absorb everything like a sponge, from your mentors and other directors/leaders that inspire you.

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama. My family moved to the Kentucky area at a young age. However, I found my way back to my home state of Alabama just four years ago. I currently reside in Trussville, Alabama along with my husband and my three amazing boys. I have a passion for helping people, whether it's in my career field of real estate or my business I’ve built through PlanNet Marketing. I also love traveling with my family to new destinations each year. My biggest past business highlight is securing the PlanNet Pledge for my children.

Before this business, I didn’t know how important and beneficial it was to work on personal development through reading or just following the correct leaders/mentors and now it’s something I’m committed to doing on a daily basis. I no longer feel guilty for not wanting to be a part of corporate America for the next 30-40 years. Through this business I’m learning I deserve and will have more.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My children are my biggest motivation. They drive and push me to be better everyday. There were times I wanted to quit, but I always had to keep telling myself this journey wasn’t just about me. Lastly, knowing that I have created an organization of over 100 families also drives me to be the best leader I can be. I’ve shown my team that it’s possible, and now it’s time to help others secure the legacy for their families.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mother is truly my role model and always will be. She instilled in me at a very young age to always trust and believe in God, to treat others as I would want to be treated, and never let anyone tell me I couldn’t do what I set my mind to.
5. The three words that describe you best are:
Loyal, Caring, and Giving.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
The tips or advice I would give to anyone on this PlanNet journey are: never forget your why; it may change over time, but never lose the fire and motivation that got you started in this business. Learning to get out of your comfort zone early can do wonders for your business. Lastly, there is power in the words you speak, so only speak positively over your life and business.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In the next five years, I will be a six-figure income earner through this amazing business opportunity. I will have complete time freedom, personal freedom, and financial freedom. Not only will I be living the life of my dreams, but I will be helping thousands of others do the same.

My favorite places that I have been so far would have to be Aruba (the sunset was ABSOLUTELY breathtaking) and Jamaica (the TOTAL experience was AMAZING). I know compliance isn’t “flashy” or “fun” but it’s necessary. In fact, it’s downright important! If you’re reading this now, you know the importance of following the rules of the company. You understand that by getting all our Reps on the same page, we’re avoiding liability that could cost us everything. We don’t want to jeopardize the Best Place on the PlanNet!
Today’s tip is a challenge – to you. Reps, readers, fans of compliance…I challenge you all to invite others to read this blog and especially my weekly compliance tips. Talk to your team about the importance of our policies – knowing them, following them, and helping others to do the same.
PlanNet Marketing is all about a duplicatable system that works for every person. Let’s make compliance a part of that! If our Reps don’t know there’s a blog out here giving them answers and tips and advice and motivation, how will they learn?!
